Plan B

God has a plan for you and me. He knew who we were going to be way before we were born. This truth has become and more real to me recently. The Bible says “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” in Jeremiah 29:11. God has a good plan for you. His plan is to promote you and to give you a good life. Next time the lies of the enemy tell you that your future is going to be tough, remind him of the plan God has for you. God’s plan didn’t start the day you got saved. His plan existed long ago. You are in the middle of His plan. His plan for your life is still valid now. Friend, embrace God’s will and plan for your life. Start the day by thanking Him for His perfect plan. Show Him that you respect what He has in store for you and that you are rejoicing over what He wants for you. He wants the very best for you. He wants you to get the best of the best. He is not interested in giving you second best. He sees you as His child and therefore He has abundant blessings to bestow on you all the time. Now, we all have a plan for our life. We all want to take the reign and control every bit of what comes our way. It’s time to let it go and leave it all in His hands. God doesn’t want us to see His plan as a plan B. He doesn’t have a plan A, B, or C. He has one beautiful plan for us if only we would let Him unfold it without resistance. He is guiding your steps whether you are aware of it or not (Proverbs 16:9). Giving in to God’s plan means having faith in Him. It means not worrying about what’s to come and trusting that He will provide and He will take care of you. (Matthew 6:25-34). Tomorrow will come with its happy moments and its sad moments but they don’t change His plan. We have the best “life insurance plan” ever. Let’s use it and know that we are safe, our future looks amazing and we are protected from any hazard that might come our way. Sounds like a plan?Suggested reading: Jeremiah 1:5; Philippians 4:4-7; Psalm 138:8
