You are loved more than you know!

Isn’t it sad to see how God is presented to many people? Isn’t it sad that some people will never get to know the true love of God and how much He cares for every single one of us? He is often portrayed as an elitist God who privileges some people over others. The white supreme and exclusive God is not the God I know. He is not the God of the Bible either. Jesus never said that one race was better than the rest of the world. Being in Israel He most likely had a much darker complexion than we imagine. His message was never about division and segregation. Nowadays you have churches that are only Black, only white or only Asian. If you go visit one of those exclusive churches you are made to feel different. I have been there. I heard someone say the other day that they don’t like going to white churches because those churches don’t have the Holy Ghost. It broke my heart to hear such a thing. Jesus didn’t come to give the Holy Spirit to a special group. He came for all. He died for all. Jesus died for your Buddhist neighbor, your Muslim classmate and the atheist at work. He didn’t die just for white people or just for black people. He died and shed His blood for all. His blood was red just like yours and mine. We all bleed red and that commonality is what groups us all under the same umbrella. The umbrella of salvation is available to all of us. No one is exempt and no one is not welcome. God loves you and me as much as He loves all the people who don’t know Him, those who hate Him and those who reject Him. His love has only one color; red! If your blood is red, Jesus loves you. If you are a human being, Jesus loves you. If you are born in this world, Jesus loves you. You are loved much more than you will ever know. Forget about the divisive, angry and hateful God. Get to know the One who loves you and who will never hurt you. He died for you!

Hearing about God’s love is amazing but developing a relationship with Him allows us to turn up the volume of His love. He wants His love to be loud and clear and it’s when we get closer to Him that we can decipher His caring voice and hear the melodies He has been singing to our hearts. My encouragement to you today is to get to know the Lord better. Don’t focus on the Lord of the media, the popular God of the world. Don’t focus on what people who have no connection with Him say about Him. Know Him for yourself. Take that jump and let Him catch you. The Lord has much more love for all of us than anyone can describe. It is in a one-on-one relationship that His love becomes more real. He is the Father to the fatherless. The King who gives you His inheritance. The dad who longs to play with you and shower you with His gift of love. God is love above all else. If there is one message to be remembered from the Bible it’s that God loves us so much that He gave His only Son for you, for me and for the rest of humanity. Don’t follow the lies about God. God loves you and that’s all there is to it!

When you love someone, you want the very best for him or her. God knows what is best for us and the desire of His heart is that we give Him a chance to show us how much He loves us. He has an abundance of gifts that can satisfy all of our spiritual, emotional, physical and mental needs. He knows that fellowship and intimacy with Him will cause us to succeed in life. The true definition of success is to know God, love God and love the world. Friend, we are all on the same boat when it comes to the Lord. He doesn’t love you any less than the most anointed person on the planet. The hierarchy of Heaven is not the same as the one on earth. We are all placed on the same level field in Heaven, a field where loves sustains us and the Holy Spirit is with us. If someone is telling you or showing you that are not worthy to be loved today, know that Jesus died for you, friend and that His love for you has NOT changed. Nothing can change it. Get to know true love. Get to stay surrounded by love. Let love in. You are loved more than you will ever know!
