The authority that can change your circumstances

I got tired of being pushed around by my circumstances. I got tired of being bullied by negative situations. I got tired of being a victim of my trials and tribulations. This was not the way I had pictured living my life with the Lord. I knew there was more to it. I knew I was missing something. I knew I had to snap out of my old ways and learn His ways. It is when I found out about the authority in Him that I became the master of my domain. You see, my life and my little world here is my domain. I have a choice to let the enemy, the ruler of this world, rule over my domain or I can take control by surrendering to God. How do I take control? How do I give God control? It starts with the acknowledgement that in Jesus’ name I can face anything. With Him I can do anything if I believe. I can climb the highest mountains. I can dig myself out of the deepest valleys through the power of my positive confessions. I can walk through fire. I can withstand the storms. I can laugh in the rain. There is an amazing authority for us believers that lies in the name of Jesus. In His name we can take back what the devil has stolen. Today I am inviting you to fight back against the bullying that takes place when we are being harassed by negativity. Take a stand in Jesus’s name. Stand tall and keep going. Learn how the authority in His name is rightfully yours today and every day. Don’t give in to your bad situations. Don’t give up!

If you have read my messages before, you know that I adhere to the idea that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to what happens. I didn’t create that concept but I embrace it and I live it out as best as I can. When something bad happens, the 90% is crucial. I have chosen the 90% to be all about the Lord. How would the Lord react? How does the Lord want me to react? He wants me to rely on Him and to depend on Him so much that nothing can shake me. He wants me to have the confidence that no matter what I am going through, I know He will see me through it. He wants me to say that I will overcome in His name and declare that there is absolutely nothing He can’t do. The power of my positive confessions during trials is the 90% that I need to keep up because it will always change my circumstances.

There is tremendous power in the words of the Lord. His Word contains confessions we can adopt that change everything. If we stay in line with His Word, if we stick to what He says and we make it our own, we will be invincible. The key is to trust and believe from the bottom of our hearts that God is going to be God throughout the whole trial and things might look bad but the Lord always looks better. Life might be dumping ugly circumstances on your lap but the Lord’s love always has a great beauty that transforms the ugliness into wonderment. Today friend I encourage you to start declaring victory over your current problems. Not because of who you are but because of who God is. He is the God of miracles and He will deliver what He promised. What He promised is that He would save you. He is going to save you from your trials. Don’t give up. Stay the course. There is something extremely beautiful and unprecedented coming your way. Jesus is with you. God is about to bless you. The Holy Spirit will guide you. Use the authority in Jesus’ name.  Everything, every circumstance will bow at the mention of His name!
