God follows you everywhere

When I visit new places, I am fine exploring on my own but I also enjoy having some company. I always like having someone close by when I am on the road. I have visited places all alone and felt a bit lonely but when I am reminded that God is always with me, I feel excited about the whole experience. It is better “to be alone” with the Lord than to be in bad company. Bad company can ruin your traveling experience. I have learned that the hard way. Now, I am just amazed by the reality that God is always with us. He follows us everywhere we go. Isn’t that just phenomenal? It doesn’t matter where we are, God is with us. There is nothing and no one in the world that can separate us from Him. Chapter 8 verses 31 through 39 in the book of Romans left a lasting impression on me because it tells us that nothing can ever get between God’s love and us. God’s love is invincible. Those verses enumerate all the things and all the people that can’t get between the Lord and us. When the Word says that nothing at all on this earth and in the universe can keep God away from us, it means business. It is a truth we need to meditate on and we need to let it grow in our spirits and in our minds. Today I want to remind you that God will always follow you wherever you go. God will never leave you nor forsake you. He will stick with you through thick and thin. He will watch over you and protect you. God follows you everywhere!

Can you imagine always being followed by the creator of the universe? Can you fathom being surrounded at all times by the One who can do all things? It boggles my mind but it is a fact. It is for real. For every step you take, God takes a step with you. He is actually ahead of you and knows what’s coming but He walks with you and stays with you. Whether you are home, at school, traveling or at work, God is following you. You might have lost friends along the way. You might not have a big social network but you have the Lord. You have the One who matters the most. If you trip and fall, God is still following you. He picks you up and keeps you going. God is with you every movement you make. There is nothing more comforting than knowing you are followed by the King of Kings. Since God is with you, it doesn’t matter who is against you. When Jesus was on earth as the Son of Man, He was very aware of the Father being with Him all the time. He talked to Him a lot. Jesus is always the best example to follow so I suggest talking to the Father all the time because He is always following us.

Some people have bodyguards following them to make sure they are always safe. The Lord is bigger and stronger than any bodyguard in the world and He is following us to make sure we are safe. He follows us in the good places and He also follows us in what I call the danger zones and in the bad places. When you are going through a bad area of life, remember that the Lord is still following you and He can assist you. Turn to Him before you turn to the world. He will give you the assistance you need and He will find the right helpers in the world. He will dispatch the help you need and delegate heavenly troops so they come to your rescue. I remember stepping into a danger zone once and not realizing how dangerous it was. God rescued me. Because of His mercy and His faithfulness, I came out of that zone without a burn or a scratch but it could have ended badly. God was right there with me when I was walking in the fire and He sheltered. He wiped away my tears and He followed me until my heart was joyful again. God won’t give up on you, friend and He will be there when no else is. No problem, no tribulation will stand in the way of God’s love for you so don’t panic. The presence of trouble doesn’t mean the absence of the Lord. God follows you everywhere! Stay encouraged!
