God will give you the strength you need

I felt very tired the other day. I was so tired that I didn’t know if I could make it to work. I felt like I had to take the day but I had a few meetings planned and some deadlines so I couldn’t afford to take the time off. It is also hard to be gone for a day and let the students fend for themselves with assignments when they have a substitute teacher who can’t help them with the language. I find that it is more work to miss a day than to be present struggling and feeling tired. That day I was very close to calling in sick but something deep down told me to go to work and do my best. I felt that my best wasn’t going to be stellar but I went anyway. I drove to work and prayed for the best but then I just dove into work and took care of all I had to do. I didn’t feel more energy at first but I felt more confidence that I could do what I needed to do. What was very amazing is that I taught all day, attending meetings and helped people as if I wasn’t tired. I counseled a former student at the end of the day and the Lord gave me the words I needed to assist him in his situation.

Everything I had to deal with was met with confidence, strength and hope. Hope that I could do all things through Christ who strengthens me. He truly did. He gave me the energy and the power I needed and it all happened seamlessly. I experienced what the Bible says when it declares that God is our strength. He is indeed and He can help us through every single day. I had important things to do and with the One who is more important than anyone and anything, I was able to do it all. God will give you strength, friend. Put everything in His hands and everything won’t get out of hand. At the start of the day, thank the Lord for the day and give Him control. Tell Him that you trust Him and that you will rely on Him all day for strength, guidance, peace, love and power. He has the power to transform your day each and every day.
Our strength is in the Lord. He has an unlimited supply of strength that has been untapped. We often don’t know about His strength. We know He is powerful and almighty but when it comes to receiving strength from Him there are a few things we can learn. One thing I have learned is that the Lord is extremely generous. He is the most generous Person you will ever know. He is so generous that He gave His only Son so we would have eternal life. He gives all the time but we don’t realize it all the time or we don’t have faith in His provision all the time. His generosity accounts for all the blessings in our lives. His love has a generosity compartment in it that is bigger than all the oceans combined. It is a giant sea of love that comes over the shores of our lives and leaves us comforted, strong, at peace and satisfied. God’s generosity gives us all we need including the strength to accomplish everything. Next time you feel like you can’t make it through the day, ask God for strength. Ask Him to give you the power to do all things and to excel in all you do. Yes, you can do more than you think thanks to Him. You can excel and you can add more than what your mind is saying you can do.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower and it is our strength
. There is power in the name of Jesus and when we use it in faith, we get all the strength and power that it takes to get through anything that will come our way. God will give you strength, His strength when you call upon His name. The Lord is your strength and your song. Why is He your song? Because with Him comes victory and we are guided through new melodies and songs that celebrate His strength and that announce the victory He is giving us. Find a new tune that will underline the power of the Lord in your life. Find the song that resonates with your spirit and that warms your heart. Find the song of faith that resounds within your heart and that professes the power of the Lord. God has the power to bless you in all you do. Don’t be discouraged. There is power backing you up and strength from Heaven within you!

  1. Haha! I felt that way this morning, extremely tired and I momentarily considered calling off as well but I didn’t. I felt drained throughout the day and I had to call out “Father give me the strength!”
