You never know what God is going to do next. You never know where your next blessing is going to come from. You never know what breakthrough the Lord has up His sleeve. He holds you in the palm of His hand and you never know what is near you in His hand. What you do know is that nothing, absolutely nothing is impossible to the Lord. What you do know is that Jesus died for you and bought your salvation. What you do know is that the Lord reigns above it all and you need to get on His wavelength so you can see how almighty He is. I don’t know what my future holds but I know it holds a special place in the heart of the Lord. The Lord cares about our future. He cares about what happens next so you and I should have the confidence that our lives are in good hands. Why panic? Why worry? God has got it all figured out and we should figure that it is going to be more than ok. You never know what He is going to do to get you out of that mess. Don’t limit God’s ability and His possibilities. There are a million ways God can get you out of that narrow street you have been walking on. The street where there is no room for peace and no room for joy. God will stretch your path and add blessings to your journey in no time. We don’t need to know everything. We just need to trust God in everything. If you are at a point now where you are doubting and you can’t see a way out of your misery, I am here to tell you that you don’t need to know how things are going to work out. Just know that God has the details of your life, His master plan for you is still happening and your future is still very bright according to Him.
I know what it feels like when you have little hope. I know what it looks like when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. I know what it sounds like when your thoughts go on a negative rant and can’t stop chatting. What I also know is that the Lord can put a stop to all that negativity. When I look at what the Lord did in the Bible and I juxtapose it with how He is described in the Bible, I see my way out of the darkness. Jesus came to take us from darkness to light. He came to save, to heal, to appease, to encourage, to set us free and to give us a new life. He is the author of all good things and He holds the key to our happiness, our joy and our peace. Without Him the world can’t find true peace. Without Him I can’t find true peace. Hope doesn’t exist outside of Him. There are imitations all throughout history but true hope comes from the Lord. Looking ahead is unthinkable for me unless I look with the eyes of the gospel of the Lord. Those beautiful eyes are eyes of faith that see everything through the filter of the good news of Jesus Christ. When fear tells me I have no future, the good news of the Gospel tells me that my future is in God’s hands. When worry paralyzes me, the good news of the Gospel gives me wings to fly. When anxiety tries to stall me, the good news of the Gospel pushes me forward and gives me a boost. Things could go wrong and in many cases they will but you never know what God can do to fix everything. You should know that He will and you should let Him choose how He is going to handle it. Faith gives God the Ok to make everything more than Ok.
You never know when God is going to intervene but you can trust that He will. God’s timing is so different from my timing and it has taken me a while to sync my timing with His. His timing is way better and it is usually later that I realize that He knew best all along. There is a timestamp on your next blessing and you can rest assured that God is not confused and He doesn’t mess up when it comes to sending that blessing in the mail. Your delivery will come at the right time. It could be today, it could be tomorrow and it could be a year from now. What you should know is that no matter how long it takes, it doesn’t make God less of the God He is. Your wait shouldn’t determine how strong and how powerful God is. God helps you with the wait when you wait on Him. There is no wasted time. Everything happens when the time is right and while you have time, enjoy yourself and rejoice in the Lord. It doesn’t take money or a fortune to celebrate the Lord. Pull your mind and your heart together. Sing with them in unison. Let the truth of the good news of Jesus direct your worship steps. Know that with the Lord you just never know when the answers to your prayers will come but just believe that they will. Don’t lose hope. Don’t lose faith. Find hope in the Lord. Find faith in His Word. You just never know. God is not done with you yet. The best is yet to come!
