I have found myself in situations where I wasn’t sure how things were going to get better. I write about that a lot because it is a big part of my life. I have to say it used to be a big part of my life. I still have problems and tough circumstances but I have Jesus. He makes everything so much better and He comforts me all the time. His Spirit is the best comforter I have ever had. I remember a time when I was really stressed and down about everything. I did not know why all this stuff was happening to me. I was a punching bag for the enemy. He hit me left and right with trials and tribulations. I am sure a lot of you can relate to that. Difficult seasons don’t spare anyone. When I was in that horrible season, the Lord had just what I needed to hear. His encouragement did not come right away. I think the stress and the worry I was feeling were blocking God’s words of encouragement. Once the words came in, once I was open to them I heard what sounded like a smooth song that lifted my spirits and that filled my soul was hope. His message in a nutshell was that everything was going to be more than alright. When God says it’s going to be more than ok, you better listen and take that to heart. I did. I went to bed every night with those encouraging words. They tucked me in and they served as a pacifier. Today I want to remind you that God is still saying that it’s going to be more than ok. He is still singing that comforting song to you and He is going to make things happen for you. It’s not over. It’s going to be more than ok because the Lord Almighty is on your side. This is something you need to hear over and over again. Your spirit will never get weary of hearing the reassuring words of the Lord.
The Bible is the first place where we can find God’s comforting words. I wish I had the reflex to dive into the Word every time I was going through a hard time. That reflex came later in life and I recommend that you develop it. The Word of God should be our reference and our go-to place. I used to go to places where wisdom was absent and hope was non-existent. Places that seemed to offer shiny comfort but it was an illusion. All that glitters is not gold. The Word of God is a solid place for wisdom and reassurance. I suggest highlighting passages and verses and bookmarking the pages that contain what you need. It is amazing how powerful words from the Lord are. They can tear down the walls of fear and defeat. The entire Bible is about Jesus and throughout the chapters, the Holy Spirit says that it is going to be ok. Look at what happened with the Lord. He came back to life. Everything was more than ok when all looked so bleak for a while. Your problem is solvable. It is “God solvable.” He is going to solve your problems one by one. It is going to be more than ok. God is on it and He never fails. When I heard that it was going to be more than ok it was as if a bulb went off. Something on the inside got illuminated and I saw the light of hope. God is always about hope and He will never tell you to give up or to get discouraged. He’s got the means and the ends. His goal is to bless you. Let Him do that for you by allowing His words of hope to take over your mind and your emotions.
When God says it’s going to be more than ok, nothing can stop His prediction when we have faith in His words. My prayer is that your faith in God’s promises keeps growing. I pray that you have a solid foundation in God’s words, that you hold them tight in your heart and that you view them as the absolute truth. “It is going to be more than ok” is not an empty promise. When God says it, it is filled with power and truth. When does God say it’s going to be more than ok? All the time. His Word stands true forever. Your circumstances might be telling you otherwise but the Lord’s Word doesn’t lie. Don’t let your situation dictate how you should feel and act. I know it’s hard not to but when your actions are in line with the Word of truth, things start to change. Believe that you are going to see a change. You are going to see a shift in your situation and it is going to be for the best. When God says it’s going to be more than ok, your fears need to take cover, hide or run. They are not founded. God has the ability to make everything change completely. Be patient and hold on tight to your faith. Better things are coming. Life is going to get better. When God says it’s going to be more than ok, you have nothing to worry about and nothing to fear.
