The enemy likes to meddle with our lives and get into our business. He likes to barge in at the most inconvenient times and he likes to do what he can to steal our joy and our peace. What I have been doing is telling him that my life and what I do are none of his business. He has no right to tamper with my emotions, with my feelings and with my thoughts. I have let him do that for too long. I am taking back what he has stolen but I can’t do it on my own. I am getting in agreement with the Lord more and more. The agreement is about accepting that the Lord died not only for my sins but for the abundant life that I deserve in Him and through Him. I am living out what the power of the cross has made available to me. Jesus said that in this life we would have tribulations but He also said that He had conquered the world. Read this as Him having conquered the enemy and his plans. I am letting God take care of my business. I am letting God take care of my life. I don’t want to control what I can’t deal with. I shouldn’t be in control because I have too many filters that hinder this amazing life Jesus provided for all of us. Today I want to encourage you to let God take care of your life. Make your life His business. He has the right to be involved and He wants to give you a life of peace, love, joy and triumph. Take back what the devil has stolen as you stay in agreement with the Lord.
How do you give God permission to be all in your business? How do you let Him take care of your life? There has to be surrender and a desire to see Him do what He does best and to embrace who He is. It always starts with your confession. Declare the Lord the Lord of your life. Don’t say it just once. Keep saying it. Say it when you pray. Say it when you are walking around. Say it when you are driving. Say it in your heart. Say it with a resounding conviction in your mind. Let yourself hear it. Let the fears and the worries hear it. Let the enemy hear it. Your confession is the first step to your transformation. It allows the Lord to act in your life and to change you. As you confess the truth of the Gospel in your life, you will see the power of the Gospel operate in your life. It will be as if you unleashed the Holy Spirit. Your words can bring Him to the scene. Your confession is an invitation that He gladly accepts. Tell the Lord that you are thrilled that He is involved in your life. List all the domains in your life that you are handing over to Him. Declare that He reigns in your life. That is a powerful statement. Acknowledge the Lord in all you do. Rededicate your life to Him. You might have to do it a few times a year especially in tough seasons. During the hard times it’s easy to try to be in control and to give God the backseat. Keep Him in the driver’s seat. Great things happen when you do.
I have been praying about a lot of things in my life. I have been praying about tiny little things that seem insignificant but that truly matter. God is the God of everything and He can take care of every detail of your life. Bring the details to Him. Give Him control of the simple things and the big things. Thank Him for taking care of your life and don’t get weary of telling Him that you trust Him. At times it will seem like you are doing your best to convince yourself and you might be but it is needed. Your faith gets the job done. Stir up your faith in God’s ability to be in all your business and to help you with life in general. God knows how to take care of you better than you do. Move aside and let Him be the manager of your life. Listen to what He says. Pay attention to His advice. Act upon what He tells you. He will always have love in the forefront of what He says so remember that it is always in your best interest to follow His Word and to heed His words. When God is the manager of your life, not only do you see some good fruit grow into your life but your life becomes a catalyst of hope, peace, and love for the world. Your life will be an inspiration to those who are lost and God will use your life to bless others. Let God take care of your business and your life will prosper with spiritual blessings that you didn’t know existed.
