“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”* God so loved you that He gave His Son Jesus for you. The ultimate sacrifice took place for you and me and for everyone you will ever meet. God loves every single person who has ever been alive in this world and He will love every single person who has yet to be born. His love has no boundaries and no borders. He loves unconditionally and amazingly. He doesn’t care about skin color, race, lifestyle, people’s pasts, people’s backgrounds and people’s personalities. His love doesn’t see color. Everyone looks the same to Him. Everyone is the same. Everyone deserves to be saved in His book. Everyone deserves to be loved according to Him. If someone tells you that you are not loved or if you don’t feel loved, know that God so loved you that He did the inimaginable for you. He loved you on the cross. He loved you when He was resurrected and He loves you just the same today. Make this your mantra. Repeat this truth; God loves you and there is nothing that can change that. God loves you and no one can ever take that away from you. Even you can’t make Him stop loving you. Every time you feel like you get in your own way, remember that God’s love stands in the way of what is trying to get in the way. God loves you and there are no ifs and buts about it. Your life with God becomes so much easier once you accept and understand that God loves you and He only has good intentions toward you. His intentions are to bless you, to take care of you and to give you eternal life.
If you are going through a difficult time right now, know that your bad circumstances don’t change God’s love for you. You are not suffering because God is punishing you. You are not in trouble because God is ignoring you. He has not turned His back on you. God loves you and He will put an end to the suffering and make everything alright. You see, Jesus died so you would not perish. I understand that your present situation may seem like you are perishing and it probably feels final but God will prevent that from happening. You might be down now but God will get you up again. Start your road to recovery, recovery of hope. Start with His love. That is where you will find peace and the hope you need to walk again and to keep going. His love is everything. His love is the power behind your restoration and your recovery. You will not perish. You will live His eternal life and be well. God so loved you that He made a way. Jesus is the way and He will always be the way. Look at your problems now and see the way. See Jesus in the middle of your chaos. He is right there and He has paved the way for a great solution and for victory. He loves you so much that He won’t let you down. You are not going to fail. You are not going to break into pieces. It might seem like you are broken inside but the Lord holds all the pieces and His love will put you back together. God so loved you that you are not going to perish. The enemy is a liar. You are going to make it. Don’t listen to the voices of his foolishness. You are loved. You are blessed. You won’t perish.
Perishable goods have an expiration date. The enemy likes to make people think they are perishable goods and that after a while they are good for nothing. He tries to isolate people and make them feel like they are less than. His goal is to distance us from God and to destroy our faith. Don’t have faith in his lies. Don’t give him the time of day. God loves you all the time and you will never expire in His eyes. His love for you certainly doesn’t have an expiration date. Tell the enemy that you are not expiring even when the going gets tough. Show him who you belong to. You belong to the Creator of the universe and there is no date on you other than the date of your victory when Jesus came back from the dead. That is a powerful testimony of love that you should keep telling the enemy. Remind him of how love won. Remind him of how supreme the Lord is. Remind yourself that the Love who died and came back is still there. Enjoy the love of the Lord. Enjoy that God died for you and came back to rescue you. Enjoy the fact that you will not perish. Enjoy the truth that you have eternal life. Enjoy Jesus. He enjoys you all the time. He loves you all the time. He will save you all the time!
