The power of God

How powerful is God? Will we ever be able to know? I don’t think that anyone can understand the magnitude of the power of God but we can get glimpses of it and we can experience it. How come we don’t see the power of God in action a lot? Does it mean His power has dwindled? Does it mean He is less powerful? God can’t change. His power is the same as it was in the Bible. Jesus couldn’t perform many miracles in His hometown because of people’s lack of faith. People doubted Him and didn’t welcome Him. The same is happening with the power of God. There isn’t that much faith in it. A lot of people believe in the “power” of social influencers more than they believe in the power of God. In some Christian circles, the power of God is talked about as a thing of the past. In other circles, the power of God is regarded as something that is reserved for the chosen few. There are many scenarios where God’s power is not trusted or not known. We need God’s power. We need it not only for our lives but we need it to be able to serve Him and touch other people’s lives. God’s power is as alive and well just like Jesus is alive and well. Sometimes we understand that Jesus is alive but we don’t associate Him with power or we give Him limited power. He is almighty. He is all powerful. He can do all things. Today I want to encourage you to meditate on the power of God. Let it become real in your mind and in your spirit. Develop faith in it and you will see it manifest in your life.

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as the One who is over all things.”* This verse is a great declaration. It should be added to our prayers. We should say it and hear it often. Remember that faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God. Expose your mind to the truth that is in that verse. Let it sink in. See it as a declaration to God and as a reminder to yourself that you serve a great God. Personalize it and say “I” instead of “we.” Tell God you adore Him and tell Him that you know He is big, He is great and He is invincible. The adjective “invincible” is a great word to describe God. It means that no one and nothing can conquer God. No one can defeat Him. Keep that word on the front burner and use it as often as possible. When things get tough, you will be reminded that your problems can’t prevail against God because He is invincible. He has the power to fix anything and to remove any difficulties.

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”** When we are weak, the Lord is still strong. His power can be seen when we are weak. Have you ever experienced God’s power in your life at a time when all seemed lost? His power seems even more amazing because He takes care of something that appeared to be hopeless. His grace is wonderful. God is so powerful that even when there is no faith He can do something great for us. It is not always the case. It is all due to His grace but it does happen and those miracles leave us in awe. I can tell you about many times when the Lord showed up for me when I was down in the dumps. His power changed the course of my life on many occasions. I am in such awe of the Lord. He is my almighty Savior who can do all things. See Him as the God of the impossible. See Him as the One who has unlimited power and unlimited love for you.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.”*** God is our strength. We are backed up by His power. The power of the Lord is behind us. We have all the support we need and all the power we need to make it in this life. God has the power to change every part of our lives when we trust Him and we have faith in Him. Let’s be believers that know that God is still powerful today and that experience His love and presence all the time. Let’s be readers of the Word who understand that what happened in the Bible can happen today. There are oceans to be parted in our lives and the Lord can do that. Let’s thank the Lord for His power every day. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

You can always count on God

I can always count on my family for anything. I can also count on a few friends if I need help or advice or just a shoulder to lean on. Through the years I have learned that I can always count on the Lord. I can count on Him more than I can count on anyone else. Jesus is my best friend. I can proudly say that He is and I can depend on Him all the time. It took me a while to come to that conclusion but He is the most reliable Person I know. He is faithful and one of the many amazing things about Him is that He is ahead of the game. He knows what’s coming. He knows how to help me today and tomorrow. A few years ago, I started hearing some great encouragement during prayer time. Most of the time the Lord tells me not to worry. It comes out of nowhere but I can take that encouragement with me everywhere. When I hear those powerful words in the morning, I know something is coming. It is not an ominous warning. It is a comforting announcement. The Holy Spirit makes that announcement to my heart and it is up to me to let it renew my mind and let it stay there as a positive thought that helps me face the day. Friend, you can always count on the Lord to have your back. He is good all the time and He doesn’t break His promises. Learn more about what He promises to do for you and take it for face value knowing that it will never change.

Another thing I have learned is that the enemy will always do whatever he can to make us believe that we can’t count on God. He presents terrible situations as impossible situations and little by little he tries to destroy our faith. He whispers that God can’t help us and He can’t save us. His lies sound like the truth when we look at our circumstances. He wants us to walk by sight and not by faith. He wants all believers to renounce their commitment to the Lord and to live under a yoke of fear and discouragement. However, God has His own truth and the truth is that Jesus came to save the oppressed and He is the bearer of good news. It is the good news of the Gospel that we should adhere to. Even when all seems lost, the good news of the Lord still stands. God is faithful and He will never lie. He is not lying when He says that with Him there is always hope. He is not lying when He says that He supplies our needs according to His riches in glory. He is not lying when He says that He has conquered the world and we should not be afraid. He is not lying when He says that He stands by His Word and He has us covered. Let’s divorce the enemy’s lies and marry the truth of the Gospel.

I love how the Lord declared that He left us peace. His peace is available all the time. I count on His peace. I count on that promise. There are too many opportunities for me to be worried and to have a chaotic mind. I call on the peace of the Lord. I expect it and I embrace it. I know that God is the calm in the middle of the storm and the breeze of fresh air during the tornadoes of life. His peace is powerful and it appeases me when I need it. I remember one time when I was going through a lot and my mind was getting filled with fear. I let it happen for a while until I stood my ground and refused to let fear overwhelm me. I said out loud that God was with me and His peace was in me. I said it over and over again until the presence of the Lord invaded my whole being. God won’t let us down. He is always willing to assist us and He loves us so much! Friend, you can always count on God. I want to encourage you to always go to Jesus. No matter what you are going through, the Lord will see you through. Don’t give up. Don’t get discouraged. You can count on Jesus. He is going to get you out of your worst trials and tribulations. Amazing things are coming to you in the name of Jesus. Count on Him! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God will never leave you

God is faithful. He will never leave you nor forsake. He will stay with and He will watch over you. Faith moves His hand but His mercy and grace intervene at times in our lives when we least expect it. I can say that I was saved by His grace. I can say that He delivered me when I didn’t know Him and I didn’t deserve Him. God was there all along and He was loving me all along. I used to believe that God only loved us when we were good or when we believed in Him. He loves us at our worst and He loves us even when we have no idea who He is. His love for the world is unfathomable. It is deeper than the deepest ocean and it is more powerful than all the powers of the universe united. His love for us is huge and because He adores us, He will never leave us. Today might feel like God has left you and you can’t find Him anywhere. Our emotions, our feelings and our senses lie to us when we try to approach God. Just because we don’t feel Him doesn’t mean He is not around. Just because we can’t see Him at work doesn’t mean He is not doing great things on our behalf right now. Just because we are going through hell doesn’t mean that God has deserted us. There are times when we have to remember that God keeps His word and He says He will be there with us forever. We have to believe in the God of forever. We have to put our trust in Jesus. He died for us and when He came back to life, He sent His Spirit to be with us. Friend, the Spirit of Jesus lives in you and He is with you. You are not alone. You were not abandoned. God is with you all the time!

God is watching over you, friend. He sees your every move. He knows all your thoughts. He hears all you say including the whispers and the cries of your heart. He knows you through and through and He knows you better than you know yourself. He is behind you, in front of you, above you and under you. Wherever you go, God is there. Whatever you do, God is there. Whatever happens to you, God is there. Today I want to encourage you to have faith in God’s presence. You might need to unlearn how you perceive God and start trusting that God is always there and that no circumstances, no problems, no trials, no feelings can separate you from God. He is always willing to help you and to bless you. Trust that He is a caring Father. Learn more about Him in His Word. Take the time to communicate with Him and to show Him that you know He is around. He is not leaving your side and He will never give up on you. He is there to back you up and to assist you in becoming all you can be in Him. His Spirit is in you to teach you, to comfort you and to point you to Jesus. You are in good hands. You are in great company. God is the best friend you should always pursue. Acknowledge Him in all you do. He is there in all you do. God is with you even when you are not with Him. Think about that!

Lately when I have felt lonely, I have turned to prayer. I get on my knees and I talk to the Lord. He is comforting and He is always listening. God is with us and He wants us to be in good company. I know that when we keep our faith in the Lord, He sends good people our way. He has people for you and me. People who can be added to our families. People that become family. People the Lord has handpicked for us. God is with us through the people He chooses for us. I have been blessed by a great family and by amazing friends. God has shown Himself faithful and He has given me the people I needed. Those who make me feel loved and cared for. Do you believe God can love you through people? I strongly believe that. God is also using you, friend, to love others and to be the vessel of peace and joy that some people need. God is with you so you can show Him to the world. God never leaves you because someone might need Him anytime and anywhere. God is with you so you can extend His love and compassion to the world. Don’t neglect the Spirit of God that is in you. You are never alone and you are always able to share God’s love. Tap into His presence. Tap into His love. He never leaves you! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Do not worry about anything

“Do not worry about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7) How often do we need to hear this verse? How often do we need to be reminded of that truth? I would say every day for me. I need a daily reminder and daily assurance from God. I need to hear Him say that I have no reason to worry and that when I turn to Him, He turns my mind into a playground of hope and peace. I think worry is the number one spiritual foe of the believers. Worry is the opponent the enemy uses the most against Christians. Worry works with doubt and they destroy our faith so the enemy wants all of us to worry about something. We worry about big things and small things and as long as we worry, we are under that yoke of the enemy. Worry is sneaky and it can come in through a tiny crack in our lives or it can walk into our minds through big negative thoughts. No matter what form and shape worry takes on, it is to be banned from our lives. How can this ban be put in place? The Lord tells us to pray. We ought to go to Him and make our petitions known. Our petitions are the requests that we have about anything that is causing us to worry. God never tells us to think and overthink in order to solve our problems but that seems to be our default reaction. It’s time we changed our inner settings and put in new applications. We need to apply the Word of God and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say. If you are worried about something today, the Holy Spirit is encouraging you not to worry but to lean on the Lord and to trust Him. Pray!

I used to worry about everything. I was always quiet because there was a dialogue inside my head between negative thoughts and myself. It was a constant battle that I rarely won. Negative thoughts had established residency in my mind and they were very comfortable there. They didn’t want to leave and I had no idea there was a way to make them go away. Then I met Jesus and things started changing. It took me years before I understood that I had to renew my mind with the Word of God and with the help of the Holy Spirit. I discovered that prayer impacted me in a great and positive way. Prayer was my mind renewing technique. The more I prayed, the more I heard from God and the less power the negative thoughts had over me. Prayer transformed me. Prayer got me closer to God. Prayer spoke to me or better said, prayer helped me listen to God. I made some requests to God and waited for my answers but the Lord would keep my attention by talking to me during prayer time. He was interested in my requests and I know He still is but He wanted that time to be a time when I would listen. That is what prayer means to me now. It means letting my requests be known and listening to the Holy Spirit. He is eloquent and He is amazing. He always encourages me and tells me no to worry and not to fear. He quotes His Word and puts my worries to rest. Pray, dear friend and you will experience a positive change in your thinking and in your heart.

My prayer requests are accompanied by thanksgiving. I take the time to be grateful for what I have and for what God is doing for me and I thank Him for what is coming in my life. I also praise during prayer. Praise is one of the most powerful spiritual weapons that we have. Praise kills worry. Praise brings peace. Praise is key. Praise is a game changer. If you don’t praise every day, I strongly recommend that you do. You might think that you don’t have time. I understand that your schedule might be full but adding praise to your busy routine is not a waste of time. It will be the best time of the day once it is a regular occurrence. Praise and your situation will improve. Praise and you will receive the peace of the Lord that surpasses all understanding. Praise and miracles will flow into your life. Pray to God and make your requests known. Listen to God. Thank God, praise God and the worries that have been harassing you will leave. The Holy Spirit will give you the power to defeat worry. Stay in the Lord. Stay strong and use the weapons the Lord gave you so that worry doesn’t have a hold on you anymore. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God’s agenda for you

An agenda is a list of items to be discussed at a formal meeting. We also use the word agenda to describe things that we need to do or that we plan to do. Many people have an agenda. Many people have plans. I have an agenda for every day. I try to be as organized as possible. It doesn’t always go my way. It doesn’t always go as planned. I have learned to let go of what I can’t change but I am still working on reacting positively to unwelcome events. Life has a way of dropping unexpected things on our lap. Then we are left with extra weight and a burden we don’t know how to handle. God can help us handle anything that life throws at us. God has His own agenda and it is always better than ours. He knows what we should do and how to get us to accomplish it all. An agenda is also an underlying intention or motive. The enemy has an agenda for our lives and it is not a good one. He has bad intentions and bad motives. He is relentless and he doesn’t stop trying to ruin our lives and steal our joy. God has the best intentions. He has all the right motives and His agenda for us is amazing. We need to embrace God’s agenda for our lives and remember that only good things come from God. We need to remember that even though the devil is like a roaring lion seeking to devour us, we have a God who is greater and stronger than the enemy.

God’s agenda for you is always for the best. I have been in situations where God intervened in a great way but it was not what I had expected. There have been times when I have questioned God and I couldn’t understand why He had done things differently from what I had wanted. You see, God always knows best and even though we think we know how God should act, He goes and does something that is out of the box or that doesn’t fit in the limitations of our minds. His agenda is a list of beautiful intentions and great motives with us in mind. He is not a selfish God who doesn’t consider us. He does what He does because He loves us and He sees the bigger picture. He knows what can bless us and what can hurt us. We are not always able to grasp that but just because we don’t understand God it doesn’t mean that He is wrong. Once I made up my mind and decided that God was always right, it helped my Christian walk tremendously. We should get to a place where we totally believe that no matter what, God is always right. It gives our faith a boost and it gives us peace when things don’t go our way. God’s agenda has you and me at the top of its list and all the intentions on that last are meant to bless us. Remember that!

God’s agenda for you is out of this world. There are things that God can do for us that will blow our minds. God is bigger than this world. He is the creator of the world and He transcends everything in this world. This implies that He can drop breathtaking miracles on our lap at any time. When life serves us cold dishes of trouble, God provides a table with blessings, joy and peace. He sets a table before us with food out of this world. You may be having a cold dish now but rest assured that God is going to change what is in front of you and give you something that will warm your body, soul and heart. God’s agenda can transform you on the inside and on the outside and He can do that with blessings that are not of this world. Expect miracles, with God. Expect divine blessings on God’s agenda. Know that His agenda can exceed all your expectations. Think of God’s intentions for your life as great intentions that involve great breaks, events that are supernatural, provision that has no limits and love that overflows. God loves you and His love will always prevail. Stay strong in the Lord and declare that God’s agenda for your life is extraordinary and powerful. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Your hiding place

Who can take care of you better than the Lord? No one. He is holding you in the palm of His hand and He is surrounding you. You are in great hands and you are protected. The enemy will do his best to get in there and disrupt what you have going on. Don’t give him the pleasure to see you stumble. It is ok if you do. Just remember that you are being cared for by the creator of the universe. Every time the opposition comes against you, look around you and focus on the Lord who is holding you. The Lord is your hiding place. Stay in Him. Keep finding rest in Him. I love having a hiding place. In the Lord I can hide from the turmoil of the Lord and be in peace even when the storms are raging. I am getting used to the Lord being my refuge and I understand it is important to have faith in our refuge.

A refuge is a protection from anything harmful. A refuge keeps you safe. A refuge provides the shelter you need. A refuge is a place of comfort. It is a place where you can sleep and not worry. Do not worry about anything. Sleep in the arms of the Lord and enjoy your hiding place. In that place of bliss and joy, you will find all that you need. God has all the blessings you need in one place. His place is amazing and it will always give you everything you need. Make the Lord the delight of your life. Rejoice over Him and be at home in His hiding place. You have nothing to fear!

“You are my hiding place; You preserve me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (Psalm 32:7). You are just like David in this Psalm, friend. God is your hiding place and He preserves you from trouble. Speak that truth over your life. Sing it to the Lord. Sing it your wandering mind. Sing it against the enemy. You are covered by the Lord and nothing can harm you. The enemy will sing songs of fear and distress but you have songs of deliverance all around you. The enemy is talking captivity but the Lord is singing deliverance. You are highly blessed. You have a hiding place that will never fail to protect you.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your Word” (Psalm 119:114). Psalm 119 is the longest Psalm in the Bible. It is not clear who wrote it. It is a beautiful Psalm with a lot of encouragement and the author recognizes that God is his/her hiding place and shield. A shield provides protection. That is what the Lord does. His protection is available 24/7. If you are going through a dark valley today, I am here to tell you that your hiding place is with you. He is your shield and He is giving you the protection you need. Hang in there and wait for His Word. His Word will always give you peace and freedom.

“Deliver me o Lord, from my enemies, I take refuge in You” (Psalm 143:9). The devil is our enemy and his agents are our enemies as well. His agents can take on many forms such as the form of negative thoughts, disease, fear, hurt, pain, confusion and many other ones. They can look intimidating but we believers don’t walk by sight. We walk by faith and we won’t let our enemies get the best of us. Our refuge, the Lord, our hiding place will make sure that our enemies are always defeated when we stay in faith. You are blessed, friend and you are protected. Don’t be afraid of anything but in all things stay inside your hiding place where peace reigns. The Lord is with you and He will continue to shield you. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you.

What happens when you know the truth

The other day when I was praying, I kept hearing, “Hold on to the truth.” It was a gentle message that came to me a few times even after praying. The truth is so important. The Bible tells us that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. It also says that we will know the truth and the truth shall set us free. Jesus is the truth that sets us free. The more we know Him, the more we know the truth. How can we get to know Jesus? Like I often say, we can find Jesus in the Word of God. It is the first place we should look for Him. Knowing Him is not an impossible task. We ought to spend time in the Word and we should also get close to Him outside the Word. I love that the Word of God is the Word of truth and it is the most powerful written text. What I also am aware of is that we can’t leave the Word of God on the pages of the Bible. We have to live it out. We have to be doers of the Word and we have to apply the Word to our lives. We need to take Jesus out of the print and print Him into our lives so that every page of our existence has Jesus on it. The truth shouldn’t stay closed up in the Book. It has to come to life and our faith can make that happen. Today I want to encourage you to know the truth. Don’t just be familiar with it. Know it intimately. Know Jesus and you will stay grounded in the truth.

What happens when we know the truth? The Bible says we are set free because we come out into the light of truth. There is so much darkness around us but Jesus is the light that dissipates the darkness. When we know Jesus, we are enlightened. We can live better. We can act better. We can think better. We can love better. We can walk better. When we know the truth, we know how to live in Christ. I can’t believe I spent so many years in the dark before I knew the Lord. I have to confess that even after I got saved I wasn’t familiar with the truth. I wasn’t well-acquainted with Jesus. My mistake was that I knew Him through other people. I knew Him through sermons and messages but I didn’t have a connection with Him. The truth can only set us free if we engage with it and we interact with it all the time. Can we know the entire truth about everything? We can’t but we can get close to Jesus and know Him the best we can. If we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us. He will show us the truth in all things. His truth is supreme. His truth is more powerful than all the lies of the enemy. Jesus defeated the enemy. His truth defeated all the negativity of the enemy. Jesus brings freedom. He is freedom. Don’t let the lies of the enemy keep you in a jail of fear.

I was set free by the Lord. There is no doubt in my mind that He is my Savior. However, I have had to remain close to the truth. It is very easy to distance ourselves from the Lord. We get bogged down by life and we lose sight of God’s goodness when things go wrong. The good news is that the truth never changes. Jesus is always the same. We should remember that the truth doesn’t change. The truth is that Jesus came to save the captives free and to heal the broken-hearted. When we know that truth and we believe it wholeheartedly, we can walk with confidence and hope. When you know the truth, you don’t live in the prison of doubt. When you know the truth, you are aware of the Lord in you. You know that greater is the Lord that is in you than the devil that is in this world. When you know the truth, you don’t let negative thoughts get you down. You understand the authority of the name of Jesus and you rebuke bad thoughts and you reject failure. When you know the truth, you know that nothing is impossible with God and you are filled with joy. When you know the truth, peace is your friend and joy is your middle name. Know Jesus, know the truth. Put on the belt of truth wherever you go. With Jesus you are always free. Enjoy the freedom of His truth. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Come what may

Come what may, God will still be God and your blessings are still accounted for. There is nothing that can happen to you that will change the way God cares about you and watches over you. No matter what comes against you, God will still be almighty and all-powerful. The way David describes God in the book of Psalms is an accurate representation of who your God is. The way Jesus talks about the Father is still relevant today. The way Jesus is in the Bible is still a depiction of the real Jesus. Your problems today might seem very real and very difficult but the Lord your God is faithful and He is not changing His Word. The Bible is not going to change because of what’s happening to you. God is not a liar. Your situation is going to change because of your God. Today I want you to stay strong and to keep going. Your God is not going to let you down. You are not going to drown. You are not under an ocean of problems right now. You might be in the middle of that ocean but you are floating and the Lord is taking you back to shore. Keep your eyes on the anchor of your life. Keep your eyes on Jesus your Savior. He hasn’t said His final word. Defeat is not in the books. You are going to get your victory in Jesus’ name. Come what may, the best is yet to come!

God has mountains of blessings for you. They are going to collide with your trials and tribulations and when there is a heavenly collision like that, you know who wins. God always wins. His blessings are going to overtake your difficulties. Stand on the promise that better things are coming your way even though things are bad right now. I, just like anyone else know what bad looks like. Bad can be extremely bad. I know that it is possible to get to the point of no return and to completely give up. However, with the Lord, you will come back from that point. Your worst predicament is no match to your God. Jesus doesn’t know what impossible means. Nothing can stop Him. Think about it. Even death couldn’t stop Him. The one thing that seems final couldn’t stop the Lord so your situation can’t get in the way of His blessings. It may not look like good days are coming but you have to trust that God can make things good out of nothing. Where there is nothing good, God can create blessings that will overwhelm you and leave you praying and praising on your knees. Come what may, God is not giving up on you and He is still fighting your battles!

Come what may, the Lord is still walking on water. He is still performing miracles and He is still calming the storms. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Meditate on that truth. Let it become a revelation in your heart and let it renew your mind. God is standing by your side as we speak and He is removing hurdles and obstacles. When things get hard, pray harder. Praise louder. Worship more. Express your faith even more. Speak about the goodness of the Lord and thank Him for His blessings. Don’t get stuck in mental torture. Free your mind by reminding yourself of the power of the Lord and of His amazing grace. Remember that there is nothing you will ever face that the Lord can’t deal with. He dealt with the world, the entire world and with every bad situation that will ever occur. He has done a perfect job, He can’t be wrong and He can’t fail. You are going to make it, friend. Come what may, God is with you and He will bless you. Stay encouraged! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Don’t get discouraged

When we are facing difficulties, we can either keep going or we can give up. There is an in-between area where we don’t know what to do and we leave it to chance to take care of the situation. There are really two sides; the side of the ones who persevere and the side of the ones who throw in the towel. I have visited the “towel” side way too many times in my life before I encountered Jesus. The encounter changed my life in many ways and one of the ways it has impacted me is that it showed me that I should never give up. I have Jesus. Why should I give up when I have the Savior on my side? There are  many accounts in the Bible of people who decided not to give up. People who walked in faith and didn’t care that people around them didn’t make it. They knew that with the Lord they could make it. David is one of those people who took residence on the side of those who persevered. He said a thousand may fall at his side, ten thousand at his right side, it will not come near him. He knew that the Lord would fight his battles and he should never get discouraged. He persevered and he kept going. Today I want to encourage you to keep going. Don’t give up. Don’t get discouraged. Things might be falling apart around you and inside of you but the Lord your God will mend you and He will fix everything around you. Stay in the camp of those who persevere. Your faith will be greatly rewarded!

“Don’t give up” is what I hear deep down inside when I get into prayer during difficult times. Giving up would be so easy. Giving up would almost be a relief but it wouldn’t help. It wouldn’t make things better. We are not called to be under but to be over. God is on top of everything and He is pulling us up to His side. He didn’t send His Son so we would be victims. He didn’t send Jesus for nothing. He sent Him to redeem the world, to save us and to give us life in abundance. Giving up is not recognizing that we have a life of abundance in the Lord. Giving up is saying that Jesus didn’t fulfil what He came to do. Giving up is removing ourselves from the blessings of the Lord. Giving up is showing that our faith is not strong enough when in reality it is. Giving up is letting the enemy win and giving him permission to manifest his lies in our lives. Giving up is forgetting that we are made the righteousness of God and we are more than conquerors. Let’s fight against the discouragement that assails us and that leads us to give up. Let’s stand in faith and let’s persevere. We are in good company. Many before us have kept going. Many believers are not giving up today. We have the same Jesus and the same power backing us up!

Don’t give up, friend. The road ahead of you will be paved with breakthroughs and blessings when trust in the Lord. Nothing is impossible with God and your current situation will change. It is going to change in the name of Jesus. Keep believing! Keep trusting! God works everything out for the best and He takes good care of His children. You are a child of God. You are protected and you are more blessed than you know. The Lord is fighting for you. He is going before you and He is going to do some amazing things for you. Put all your faith in Jesus and you are guaranteed to win and to make it. You are an overcomer in the name of Jesus. No situation that comes against you will destroy you. Don’t give up! Don’t get discouraged! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!
