How to get a strong spirit

How do you get a strong spirit? Feed your spirit. Feed your spirit first thing in the morning. Feed your spirit throughout the day. Your spirit needs as much nourishment as your body does if nothing more. Why more? Because you ought to let your spirit dominate your body. Your spirit, the new creation in Christ should prevail over your flesh. You have the potential to be a firecracker for God and that potential is found in how much you feed your spirit. The Lord has given us tools, feeding tools we should be using all day. Some of those major tools are the Word of God, prayer, praise and worship, gratitude, love, acts of service and joy. You might have a customized set of tools but the ones I mentioned will all do the job and they are very powerful.

Every day you should check and see how many feedings you give your spirit. Check and see if you are using some tools more than others. Learn how you interact with them and be sure to indulge in them. First thing first. Morning feeding is crucial. What do you give your spirit when you first wake up? Do you feed it social media? Do you give it a portion of overthinking? Do you let negative thoughts drop down into your spirit? Your first feeding should be aggressive. It should be solid food. Solid food that is going to sustain you for a while. Hit your spirit with power first thing in the morning. Fill up with the good stuff. Fill up with power. I suggest entering the day with praise. Start the day praising and worshiping the Lord. Start the day on a very positive note. Start the day with Jesus. Make Him your focus.

Jesus should always come first and when you make Him your meditation first thing in the morning, you are giving your spirit what it truly needs. Your spirit needs Jesus all the time. Your spirit needs to maintain its relationship with the Holy Spirit and when you adore and worship, you are tapping into the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God will also point at Jesus. The Spirit of God will always give you solid food from Heaven when you praise the Lord. Let the praises take you into prayer mode. Prayer is a great way to feed your spirit. During prayer, you can hear the Lord and you can talk to the Lord. Jesus prayed to the Father all the time so we should pray to God all the time. Prayer builds up your spiritual muscles and it helps your spirit grow. Your spirit can learn so much during prayer time.

Feed your spirit words. Speak up. Say what the Lord says about you and about your life. Let your spirit hear words of encouragement and words of faith. It is very important that you feed your spirit positivity. You need a big helping of positivity for the day. Stay positivity throughout the day. You can accomplish that by speaking. Don’t let negative thoughts control your actions. Control your actions by speaking words of peace, love, faith, victory in Jesus and joy. The Lord says that His joy is your strength. Get the joy of the Lord activated in your life. It can come from praise, from fellowship with the Holy Spirit and from the Word of God.

Feed the Word of God to your spirit. This feeding process will help you grow and get stronger in the Lord. The Word is the manna from Heaven that will allow you to have a strong foundation for your faith. The Word will enlighten your spirit and give you the chance to walk in the truth. The Word will fill you up with all the goodness from Heaven. It will bless you over and over again. A good session in the Word will make you full. Get full! Enjoy the Word every day. Enjoy the feeding tools every day. Start your day with them and give your spirit spiritual meals all day long. Stay full. Feed your spirit power! May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

The apple of God’s eye

God loves you and He adores you. You are the object of His affection and of His powerful love. No one and nothing can ever take that away from you. Be sure to line up your thinking with that truth. Meditate on it every day. Spend time recognizing that you are loved and that you are God’s favorite. We are all God’s favorites and yet He makes it an individual and unique experience. God loves you more than you will ever know but you can know a lot about His love. Pursue His love. Pursue who He is and you will learn more about this ardent and strong love He has for you. He gave His Son for you. He did the impossible for you. He changed the course of history for you. He hung on a cross for you. He died for your sins and for your infirmities. He conquered death for you. He came back from the dead for you. He gave you resurrection power. He sent His Spirit to be with you and to stay in you. He made blessings available to you and they are still here for you. God loves you and you are the apple of His eye. Think about how He sees you. When He looks at you, He sees only you. That is how He makes His love so specific and so individualized. As this new week begins, remember that you are the apple of God’s eye. Remember that He sees you and He loves you. He is going to continue to cherish you and to bless you. God’s love is going to remain with you all week long. God’s love is going to get you through the week. God’s love is going to protect you and shield you. Praise the Lord for His everlasting love for you. His love will never ever change!

When you love someone, you are ready and willing to do anything for him or for her. God’s love will do anything for you. Anything that is in sync with His will. There are thousands of promises in God’s Word and they are all operated by His love if you will. God’s love is the power behind His promises. God’s love is the fuel for all miracles and blessings. God’s love is the reason you are here and the reason why you are going to make it and to succeed in this life. God’s love for you is all set. It is up to you to accept it, to embrace it and to get to know it. You might need to spend some time unlearning some of the things you were taught about God. You are going to need to read His Word and ask His Spirit to reveal God’s love to you. His love is hard to fathom and yet it is very available and it is there for you any time. God’s love has been knocking at the door of your heart for a very long time. When you accepted Jesus as your Savior, you welcomed His love into your life. Now you might need to go back to welcoming His love and to host His love in your life. Let His love be in everything you do, everything you think about and everything you talk about. Host His love and you will experience a transformation that you didn’t think was possible. Give God a chance to show you that His love for you is unparalleled, genuine, beautiful and rich.

You are the apple of God’s eye. You mean everything to Him. When I first found out that God loved me in an amazing way, it threw me off. He took all my misconceptions about God and threw them all out the window. I kept looking out that window for a while trying to hang on to all the false ideas about God but His love got the best of me. Once you experience His true love, you can’t settle for less. What I learned was that God’s love could move mountains. It moved the mountains of shame, the mountains of low self-esteem and the mountains of despair that had been sitting in my life. His love gave me hope and it still gives me hope every day. I have learned that I live thanks to His love and everything I experience will be fine because His love will always come to my rescue and it will always back me up. I have also seen how God’s love tracks me and finds me even when I get lost or I go astray. I can’t thank the Lord enough for His love. If you don’t know what to be thankful for or what to praise the Lord about, thank Him for His eternal love. Thank Him because you are the apple of His eye. He loves you so much so you don’t have to worry about anything. If you are going through a difficult time now, hang on to God’s love. His love will set you free and it will deliver you from whatever is trying to destroy you. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

It’s never too late with God

Every time I read the story of Lazarus, I am amazed. I am amazed at God’s goodness and love. I am amazed at His compassion and at His power. I am amazed at how moved He is and how He brings peace like no one else. Lazarus was dead. According to human principles and laws of nature, he was dead. When Jesus got to Judea where Lazarus was, his family was crying saying that Jesus had arrived too late. Jesus was touched and moved but He did not agree with them. He didn’t agree with the world and its laws. The world knew death in this situation and Jesus saw a miracle waiting to happen. Jesus wept. He loved Lazarus and His sisters. He felt for them and He displayed a very compassionate side that surprised me the first time I read about it. God does care about everyone. He joined them in their sadness but He didn’t cry because this was the end of the story. He displayed empathy and compassion for all mankind in that instance. Jesus had a different ending for Lazarus and He didn’t let death stop Him from writing the story of his life. Lazarus had been dead for four days. Four days! Anyone would think that it was the end and nothing could be done. Anyone could think that it was too late, that Jesus had arrived too late. I can only imagine the disappointment in Lazarus’ sisters and the confusion. Jesus had a different point of view. His perspective and His vision of things defied all understanding and challenged the world. It is never too late with God and Jesus demonstrated that God had the final say.

Lazarus died of sickness and after four days you can expect his body to be decomposed. Jesus said that this sickness would not end in death. God was going to get the glory out of this desperate situation. Nothing could stop Jesus and He had so much faith that He didn’t go and see Lazarus for another two days. He had heard that he was sick but He didn’t rush to go visit him. That says a lot. It shows that He thinks in a way that is not the world’s way. The world would say “Hurry up. He is dying.” Jesus said “He will not die.” By the time Jesus arrived, Lazarus had been dead like I said before. Three key elements took place. First Jesus said he was going to wake up Lazarus from his sleep. This key element points out that the Lord had a very different interpretation of the event. We see death and He sees opportunities or a different scenario. The second element was His compassion. Love moved Him. Love led Him to act and to do the impossible. It is the power of love that can change dead situations into miracles. The third element was Jesus commanding Lazarus to wake up. That miracle was a validation that He was God. Lazarus woke up and everyone was amazed and couldn’t believe it.

When you think that it is too late, think about what Jesus did in the story of Lazarus. Think of the three key elements. First look at the situation through God’s eyes. Pray that He shares His interpretation of the situation. Secondly believe in the power of love and trust that God is moved by your situation. Trust that He is on your side and that He is going to do something for you. Last but not least, know that nothing can stop Jesus and if it takes a miracle to reverse your situation, God can perform it. He will command your blessings to wake up and He will get you out of that tomb of despair and sorrow. He is not getting there too late. Jesus is the resurrection and the life. It might seem too late in the natural world but with God nothing is ever too late. Meditate on that truth. Thank Him for the impossible. Trust that things are going to come back to life. Hope is alive and well and Jesus will show you that it is the truth. Stay in faith. Don’t get discouraged. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Pray God’s will into your life

A few days ago, I talked about the importance of believing when we pray. Whatever we ask, we should believe that we will receive it. I also mentioned that what we pray for should be in agreement with God’s will. What is God’s will for us? His will is described in His Word and He only has good intentions for us. God will not give us everything we want because everything is not good for us. His desire is to bless us and to prosper us. Anything that will not be a blessing to us and that will not prosper us in any way is not something that God wants for us. That mansion we have been praying might not exactly be what God has planned for us. It could be but we shouldn’t be surprised if it’s not in His will for us. I used to say that God could make me a millionaire but He couldn’t trust me with all that money. That money might become a god in my life and I would lose the best connection I have going on. God gives us what we need and more. “The more” is that extra cherry on the cake and it is often meant to be shared with others. God answers our prayers so we get what we need and so that we can hand the overflow to others.

One thing I had never thought about was how because I wasn’t asking, I wasn’t getting anything.  I thought that since God was God He didn’t need to hear about all my needs. However, He clearly says in His Word that we are not getting what we need because we are not asking. This means that there is a need to be a request first and that request must be in line with God’s will like I mentioned earlier. Today I want to encourage you to ask God. Don’t underestimate or overestimate your requests. Bring them to the Lord. Bring them to the throne of God and see what He does and what He has to say about it. The first thing I suggest you ask is that He gives you discernment. Ask Him to show you what His will is and to open the eyes of your spirit. Make a list of your needs and scan them with the power of discernment that only the Lord can provide. You will find many answers in the Word of God. Read it prayerfully and read it with your coach. The Holy Spirit is your coach. He can help you decipher some of the mysteries of God’s will and He can always point you in the right direction.  I pray to the Holy Spirit before I read my Bible and I thank Him for illuminating me and enlightening me. He is the best at showing the truth and He is the ultimate expert at giving us the revelation we need. He will do that for you. Make it a habit and you will discover what you should be asking God for.

God knows exactly what you need and He can give it to you as you stay in faith. We can’t go to the Lord and ask Him with doubt. We can’t try to ask Him and hope for the best. We ought to ask Him knowing that He will provide. If it’s in His will, it will come to pass. There is no doubt about it. There are some many blessings listed in the Bible that can be prayed into our lives. I would start there for sure. Pray God’s will into your life. Pray according to His heart. He will show you what’s in His heart and His Spirit will whisper the prayers to you. It implies that you should be in sync with the Lord. Agree with His Word. Develop a sense of reverence and honor for the Word. Let it be your reference book and your way of life. It should overtake the world in your mind and in your heart. Daily study and reading is often required. Carve some time in your daily schedule so you can devote time to the Word of God. I am telling you that it’s going to make your prayers very powerful because they will echo God’s will for your life. Get filled with the Word of God. Pray God’s desires for your life. Thank God for His will. Thank God for how He is blessing your life. Things will change and blessings will follow you. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Help is on the way

I love watching first responders’ shows. I think that the responders’ work is amazing and inspiring. Those are people who save lives every day and who sometimes put their lives on the line to make sure that other people live. It’s remarkable! As a kid I loved Superman because he saved people and that concept of saving had a strong impact on my heart. Facing danger to save someone is so admirable. Superman is great but Jesus is greater. When I was old enough to understand what the Lord had done on the cross, I found my Superhero. I found the One who gave up His life so we could live. He did it for me and He did it for anyone who would welcome Him into his or her heart. Jesus is my hero and He is the most inspiring One there is. He did what He did so we wouldn’t have to do it. He didn’t save us so we would die for others. He saved us so we could live for others and testify to His glory.

With Jesus, there is always hope. When you find yourself in one of those accidents of life and you are not sure how you are going to make it, remember that there is always hope. The moment you pray to God, help is on the way. You might be stuck in that accident for a while but help is on the way. Put your hands together and pray. Help will find you. Keep in mind that there is nothing that can separate you from God’s love. God will find you wherever you are. Whether you are beaming with faith or whether you are down in the dumps with no hope. Nothing can hide you from God. He always sees you and He always knows where you are. When you are facing problems, it’s easy to feel lonely and abandoned. The truth is that you are not alone. God is with you and He is sending help your way. Dear friend, don’t get discouraged today. I am here to tell you that help is on the way. Stand your ground. Keep praying. Keep hoping. Keep believing. Help is always on the way when you turn to Jesus.

I was reading the news the other day and the more I was reading and the more I felt like it was the end of the world. The way things are presented leave very little room for hope. The good news you get is very small and it is always followed by something horrific. The world doesn’t take a break from hurting, from suffering and from chaos. People are facing horrible situations around the globe and it seems that the enemy finds new methods to torture people and to keep them away from God. The opposition will tell you that hope is hopeless and there is no help for the helpless. The Lord will tell you that hope is still alive and there is help coming your way. Choose to believe the Lord. Hang on to hope. Hang on to the tiny little bit of hope you have. It will trigger a chain reaction that will bear good fruit.

A little bit of faith is all you need to allow God to crack the shell of despair and to rescue you. God is a rescuer. He is a protector and the Savior. He has an army at the ready for you. You could be in the worst predicament and He would still be able to get to you and help you. Help is always available with the Lord. There is nothing and no one that can neutralize His power and His ability to help. Like I said before, pray. Turn to Jesus. Say a simple prayer. Ask Him for help and He will set things in motion. Keep Him in mind. Clear your mind of the lies of the enemy. One way to be able to do that is by spending time in the Word. When you do, hope grows stronger and stronger in your heart.

Help is on the way today so rejoice over what the Lord is doing even if you don’t see it. He is behind the scenes lining up favor and blessings. You don’t have to understand it all. All you have to do is hope and trust that things will change. Have a Holy Ghost party while you are waiting. It sounds contradictory to what the world tells you to do but I am telling you that if you celebrate the Lord during your times of trial, He will turn things around for you. He will reverse your situation. He will send help and you will get out of your nightmare. God has better dreams for you. You are going to be able to sleep soundly knowing that He is always there for you. Tell yourself that help is on your way. Thank Jesus. Thank Him for His goodness. Things are going to get better. Things are going to get much better. Angels are being dispatched as we speak. Don’t lose hope. Jesus is the hope that will carry you through all your trials and tribulations. Stay strong. Something amazing is coming your way in the name of Jesus!

God’s mercies never end

God’s mercies never end. They are new every morning. His blessings never end. There is an infinite supply of them for you. God is merciful and He will always provide for you. Your last blessing and your last breakthrough were not the end of the story. There are many more chapters ahead of you and God will continue to pen your story. There is more to come. With God, there is always more to come. Expect it. Expect great things. You see, with the Lord you go from glory to glory, from mercy to mercy, from blessing to blessing. He is a giving God who loves to give more than we can imagine. You and I belong to “the Lord of more to come.” You and I are part of the family of the Lord who gives more than enough. The abundant nature of God is sometimes overlooked but today I am here to underline it and to remind you that there is so much more to come into your life and you should embrace it, accept it and thank God for it.

You deserve what God has for you. You deserve God’s best. You deserve His blessings and His mercies. Not because you are special but because of Jesus. It is true your Savior is special and He makes you the blessed recipient of His love. His mercies and blessings are part of the package deal that comes with His love. God so loved the world that He gave Jesus so you could have blessings upon blessings and so you could have an amazing life. Jesus is the biggest blessing there is. Having Him in your life is more than enough. All the mercies from Heaven are found in Jesus and He is your Savior so you are all set. Don’t underestimate the power of your relationship with Jesus. It is an incredible relationship that covers you with the blood of the Lamb. There is so much more than meets the eye with Jesus and that is why faith is important. It gives you access to abundant blessings from Heaven without relying on what you see. Faith gives you a clear vision of God’s blessings.  Great and wonderful things are going to happen to you in the name of Jesus. Your next blessing is going to overtake all the blessings you have experienced. Trust that it is true. Believe that blessings from the Lord are a lifestyle for you. You were meant to live that life. You were meant to go from glory to glory. Live it out.

God’s mercies don’t end. They can’t end. You might be going through a quiet season where you are not seeing much going on but God is still actively blessing you. He is setting up your next breakthrough and He is preparing a way for you. Don’t give up hope. God is full of surprises and there are things in your future that will blow your mind and that will make wonder. You will wonder how a God so big and so powerful can do so many great things for you. He loves you and that settles it. Don’t let your past or your sins rob you of the blessings. Jesus is the bridge between you and the Father and He makes all things possible. His mercies are new every morning and they are not reserved for an elite group of people. They are for you. Think of them as a river. They are a river that can’t be quenched and that can’t stop overflowing. Be ready for the overflow. Brace yourself for the Lord’s overflow and stay there. Enjoy it and praise the Lord because His mercies never end.

The joy of the Lord is very powerful

When I was introduced to the joy of the Lord, I had to pause and wonder if what I was experiencing was real. It was like being in a dream but I was living that dream and everything about it was better than life but it was part of my life. I can’t explain it well. All I can say is that it is out of this world and it is typical of Jesus. He is a joyful Lord. He is so happy and so full of joy all the time. I used to see Him as a stern and somber God. I was extremely mistaken. He is the king of light and He is a true Sunshine. His presence brings warmth and love and the joy that stems from them is incredible. When Jesus steps into the room, everything falls into place and joy radiates. I was in a dark room for a long time but when He stepped inside my sad space, everything changed and His joy touched my heart. I wasn’t used to it. I had seen it in other people’s lives at church and it made me feel uncomfortable. What was up with those happy people? Why were they so smiley and so friendly? Once I got the joy bug, I became one of them and it was very natural. The Lord’s nature was gently pushed into me and it became part of my spiritual system. My spiritual DNA was rerouted and it pointed towards a new and better direction. When the joy of the Lord comes upon you, you can’t help but think of Jesus. You know it is coming from Him and you just want to lift Him up. His joy is so intense and powerful that you want to share it and to go around and distribute it.

How did the joy of the Lord first come into my life? It happened when I was in college praying in my bedroom. I was praising the Lord and I felt overwhelmed by peace and then joy came. It was very powerful. I smiled and laughed for no reason.  I remember not thinking of my problems in that moment the way I used to. Nothing seemed impossible. Everything was just good and excellent. That joy was boiling in my spirit and making me feel amazing. It was on the inside and I felt it on the outside. It seemed that I was being touched by God and just a simple touch produced a lifetime supply of His wonderful joy. Prayer and praise time was by far the best time of the day and it was my refuge. I started the day with the joy of the Lord and it helped me get through the day. I ended the day with His joy and it allowed me to cleanse myself from all the negativity that had tried to get into my mind and my spirit during the day. Where the Lord is, there is joy. I want to encourage you to tap into the joy of the Lord. The joy of the world is temporary but the joy of the Lord is eternal. It doesn’t mean that you are going to be floating on cloud 9 all the time. It means that when you need it and sometimes when you don’t expect it, His joy is going to save the day and brighten your life in ways you never thought possible.

I had known happiness even though it wasn’t a permanent resident at my house. I knew what it felt like and how good it was. Encountering the Lord and His joy was way better than happiness. His joy is based on Him. It has nothing to do with our circumstances or with some good news we receive. It is from Him. It is Him. Jesus is the joy the world needs. Jesus is the joy that can be your strength if you let it be part of your life. You need to get into His joy circle and spend time in there. Then you will experience joy on a regular basis. Joy will not be a visitor in transit but it will be an inhabitant of your life. I still pray and praise the Lord daily. It has become a powerful habit that yields powerful results. I wish I could pray and praise all day but I can’t. What I can do is insert prayer and praise into my day and joy shows up. When the joy of the Lord gets ahold of you, faith reaches new levels. His joy is like a mountain whose top you can’t see and you just rejoice over the fact that it seems endless and it is abundant. God’s joy can erupt like a volcano and burn the misery and the fears that are in the dark valleys. His joy can come into your darkest moments and give you the strength and the ability to make it with flying colors. The joy of the Lord is very powerful and it is available to you today. Praise the Lord. Get into joy mode. It doesn’t matter how you feel. Take a few steps towards joy and the Holy Spirit will do the rest. The joy of the Lord is your strength and it is invincible. Stay in the Lord and you will be joyful!

The meditation of your heart

What do you think about the most? What occupies your mind space? What thoughts do you entertain the most? I was reading my Bible the other day and came across the passage where David asked the Lord to help him with the meditation of his heart. He wanted God to be his number one thought. He wanted his heart to be filled with the Lord so that negative thoughts had no place to be. He wanted his mind to be filled with God thoughts and not human thoughts that separate us from God. It is interesting to see that it was a prayer. It tells me that we can also pray for the meditation of our hearts to be all about God. It also tells me that there is a need for us to work on those thoughts and to guard our hearts against the negativity that is so rampant and so present everywhere. We often talk about how bad things are in the world and they are but we need to look on the inside and see how we can neutralize the bad that is happening there. Our thinking has a lot to do with how effective our faith is and how strong in the Lord we can be. A mind that is focused on the things of the world will not bear much fruit for the Lord. How can we avoid negative thoughts? How can we keep our hearts centered on God? It takes work, effort, diligence and prayer like David shows us. Today as we start this new week I am inviting you to take the “guard your heart” challenge with me. Work on staying focused on Jesus. Work on filtering your thoughts and making sure that negative thoughts don’t get the best of you. Work on the meditation of your heart so that it helps you share the mind of Christ and stay strong in His love.

We all meditate. We all spend time thinking about something. Whether it is our grocery list, upcoming exams, a difficult situation we are in, a person we love, a person we can’t stand. Our minds are always busy and at times we can’t keep up with what is going on there. However, the Lord encourages us to watch our thoughts and to control what is going on in our minds. He talks about renewing our minds and guarding our hearts. He would never ask us to do something impossible so we ought to get to a place where we believe and know that our minds can be changed and our hearts can be protected. Starting the process with a prayer like David did is a great way to start. David prayed that the words of his mouth and the meditation of his heart be pleasing to God. What words and what thoughts are pleasing to God? Anything that is pure and holy is pleasing to God. Does He like it when we have negative thoughts and we let them take control of our lives? Absolutely not! Negative thoughts will always be present but we can resist them and we can deal with them. Pray to the Lord that your words and thoughts are pure before Him. Thank Him in faith for His help and His assistance. Have the confidence that His Spirit will coach you and give you guidance so you can fight against the negativity. In David’s prayer we noticed that our words and our thoughts are connected. Sometimes our thoughts turn into words and I have also seen my words turn into thoughts. If I repeat what I have heard and I stick to that pattern, my thoughts can get negatively or positively impacted by my words. The goal is to wash away the negative thoughts and feelings and to replace them with what is acceptable to the Lord. Rebuke the negativity. It is of the devil. Resist the devil and he will flee.

In order to keep my thoughts and my words in line with the Lord’s mind and with His heart, I do a lot of rebuking and I do a lot of inputting. I input God’s Word in my mind as much as possible. I meditate on his Word. I do that every morning and during the day. I start the day with inspiration from the Lord. I get quiet before Him and listen. Verses come to mind. Encouragement comes to mind. I experience comfort and hope. I put myself at His mercy right from the start of the day. I set the tone for the day and my heart is learning to hang on to God’s love and to His comfort throughout the day. It is becoming easier to reject the negative chatter in my mind and to face the negative feelings that try to rob me of my joy. It is all happening because of how I let my heart meditate on the Lord and on His words. He has to be our priority and we should give Him an audience before we listen to what the world has to say. That is how we can develop protection around our hearts and our thoughts. It takes time and it takes discipline but it is worth it. Pray to the Lord and ask Him to give you the strength and the wisdom you need to get through this process. You will see how God becomes the meditation of your heart in no time. Stick with it and keep going. You are going to experience a change in your thinking and a warmth in your heart that wasn’t there before. Stay strong. Guard your heart and renew your mind. The meditation of your heart is going to be beautiful!

This is what God says about you

God is who He says He is and you are who He says you are. He is a God of His Word. He doesn’t lie and He doesn’t compromise. Who does He say you are then? First He says that you are loved. Whoever you are, know that you are loved by Almighty God. Nothing about you can stop Him from loving you. It doesn’t matter if you believe in Him or not, He loves you and nothing can ever change His mind about you. His Son died on the cross for you and came back from the dead so you would have abundant life in Him if you accept Him as your Savior. Think about how every single person you will ever meet is loved by God just as much as you are. We all have something in common; we are all loved and the biggest and most powerful sacrifice was performed for us all.

If you are a believer, God says that you are saved. You are born again. Your spirit was renewed and you have a new life running through your spiritual veins. There is new hope, new mercies and new blessings available to you every single day. You have a Father who adores you, who protects you and who takes care of you. That is what the Lord says about you and He doesn’t lie. You have abundant life in Jesus. That means that there are no limitations to what the Lord can do in your life. You can grow spiritually. You can make mountains move with your faith. You can be healed. You can be encouraged in Him. You can be comforted and counseled by His Spirit. You have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you. That is what the Lord says about you.

As a host of the Holy Spirit you can worship and praise the Lord. Now it’s up to you to choose to grow in the things of the Spirit and to acknowledge His presence all the time. You see, the Lord says that we are to renew our minds with His Word. Even though we have the Spirit and our spirits are new, our minds are still a work in progress. One thing we need to work on is believing with our minds and our hearts that God is always with us and that with His Spirit

comes power. Power to live this life in Christ and to be conquerors all the time. God says you are a conqueror and that your faith saves you. He says that your faith activates His hand. Recognize that you are the person of faith that the Lord talks about and walk in the power of His love.

God also says that you have nothing to worry about and that He gave you a strong spirit that is not weak. This is something important that you ought to confess daily and to remind yourself daily. Fear is the enemy of faith. God doesn’t give fear and He doesn’t promote fear. He promotes faith and He encourages you in your faith. You can defeat fear in the name of Jesus. God tells you not to fear in His Word about 365 times. It is not something you should ignore. You have the power within you to beat fear because the Lord is with you. You are a person of faith who lives above fear. Believe it. Be in agreement with it.

God also says you are blessed. You are blessed wherever you go because He goes with you wherever you go. Stand on that truth and walk on your path with confidence knowing that you are blessed. God even says that you are highly favored. That is not a simple statement. It is a big statement made about you. It is part of the package deal of your salvation. God’s favor is on you and you are blessed in all you do and everything you touch is blessed. He also says that you are a blessing. Let Him use you to bless others. Serve with love and be a blessing to someone today. You are a blessing that can change someone’s world. That is what the Lord says about you. Get on the same page. Thank Him for all He says about you. He knows you better than you know yourself and everything He says about you is true and it should all be accepted in faith. Make a pact with God and agree that you will take Him at His Word and be grateful that He is a God of His Word. You are loved. You are saved. You are a person of faith. You conquer fear. You are blessed and you are a blessing.

God makes (good) things happen

God makes good things happen. God makes breakthroughs take place. God makes the walls of limitations come down. God makes things change for the best. God makes life better. God makes peace come into your life. God makes joy your strength. God makes the impossible possible. God makes all things right. God will make good things happen for you. He is the God of the second chance, of the third chance and of a new chance. The enemy might be creating havoc in your life but God will ruin the plans of the enemy. Trust that God makes good things happen. You are not going to be in a mess forever. God has a plan and it is always good. Good things will happen again. Good things are happening now. God is working in your favor and He is moving mountains as we speak. If you are feeling discouraged today, I am here to remind you that God will make good things happen in your life. He has not forgotten about you and He is not limited in any way. Your breakthrough is on the way. Your new day is coming. Don’t worry. God makes things take place that you never thought could happen. It’s coming. The good is going to replace the bad. Hang in there. God is bringing the positive changes you have been waiting for.

Yesterday morning I woke up with the powerful reminder that God makes good things happen. He is good all the time and He is with us all the time. When we pray to God, we put pressure on the bad things that are happening in our lives. Our prayers are pushing those things out of the way. There is a spiritual battle happening when we pray and God has won that battle. We have to keep praying and keep believing. Good things will materialize and they will transform our lives. I understand what it is to feel demoralized and to feel defeated. Those are negative feelings that the enemy loves to see us experience. He loves pain and suffering. He delights in affliction and robbery. The enemy is a thief but God brings back justice. God restores what the enemy steals. He replaces our grief with gladness and singing. He takes the pain and puts a fresh coat of joy over the walls of our hearts. God makes things right and good again. There is no sadness and no fear that God can’t remove. Keep on praying and keep on praising. You are breaking the hand of the enemy over your life. You are giving God free reign to do what He does best. You are inviting Him to rescue you, to bless you and to change you and your circumstances.

God makes good things happen even when things should be going in the wrong direction. People will even tell you that you are at the end of your rope. People will even feel bad for you because they see there is no hope. Don’t listen to what people have to say unless it is uplifting and encouraging. God is not saying this is the end. God doesn’t believe things will not get better. God doesn’t sit back and let you go through ordeal after ordeal. God is pushing you in the right direction. When things are bad, God is whispering that He is here to make it all better. Pay attention to His voice, to His signs, to His guidance. If you are not hearing anything, open your Bible. His voice will be clear and loud. He has exactly what you need in His Word and what you need is hope. Hope that He will make things good again. He keeps His Word. He is faithful. Good things are in the making in Jesus’ name. You have nothing to worry about. Things are going to get so much better. Just wait and see how God makes good things happen. Stay in faith and stay in peace. God is doing something new in your life!
