God’s light

When I got eye surgery, my life completely changed. I went from having to wear contacts or glasses all the time to be being able to see all the time without any assistance. It was like night and day. I never thought that I could ever see that clearly without glasses. It was as if I had stepped into a new dimension. Everything looked so real and so true. It is hard to explain but what I can say is that it was one of the best moments of my life in terms of transformation. However, the best moment of my life, hands down, was when I got saved. It was a similar experience but on a much higher level. I went from being spiritually blind to being able to see the light. I had lived in darkness for a while. I had had glimpses of hope and glimpses of who the Lord was all about but those glimpses didn’t compare to the real thing. They were nice previews that gave me a reason to pursue Jesus. Those insights into who the Lord was were like contacts and lenses that allowed me to see the truth for a short time. When I got saved, the light became permanent and I was able to see what I had been missing my whole life. The light of the Lord is such a powerful tool in our lives and we should never underestimate it. We should cherish God’s light and His truth and keep walking in it with our spiritual eyes wide open.

The Word of God is a lamp into our feet. His Word is the lamp that can guide us into all things. We can never stay in the dark when we follow the lamp of the Lord. We should actually spend a lot of time in His Word so we can be enlightened and filled with wisdom. The amount of darkness that is in the world is huge and we need to work against so many principalities and powers. The power to counteract those evil forces is only found in the Lord and His Word gives us instructions on how to stay in His light and how to avoid the traps of darkness. When I read the Word of God, it is like a light is turned on and I can see into some of the mysteries of God. This happens when I read and study the Word prayerfully. When I get in sync with the Spirit of God, His Word comes alive and I dive into the wonderful world of our Savior. I love spending time in the Word especially when the world is so chaotic. I find peace and I find joy when I am in the Word. I strongly encourage you to make it a habit to turn on the light of the Lord and to stay under the rays of His great love. His light will refresh you and invigorate you. It will open your eyes and it will close the doors to the darkness that tries to mislead you. God’s light is the truth that you need to be set free so embrace His light, embrace His Word.

When someone turns on a light, darkness scatters. Some people would say that darkness disappears and I love that idea as well. God, the light, can make your darkness disappear when you turn on His light. Your enemies, your fears and your doubts will scatter when you turn on the light of the Lord. How do you turn it on? Like I mentioned earlier, the Word of God is the light you need and being familiar with it is crucial. Making sure that the Word of God has an important part in your life is extremely helpful. Jesus brings light and He is the light so daily communion with Him also allows you to turn on the light that will always set you free. Jesus will not only give you insights into who He is and how He made you but He will teach you how to live a fulfilling life in Him. He is the light that keeps on giving more light so don’t expect Him to ever be extinguished in your life. He is always on. You might have to adjust how you connect with Him but He is always on and always ready to shine in your life. He is like that permanent contact lens that enables you to see clearly at all times. Jesus will help you deal with all forms of spiritual blindness so stick to Him and stay close to Him. He is the best light you will ever find. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

No complaints

There are a lot of challenges on social media. Some of them I don’t really understand. I guess they are really entertaining for some people who get a kick out of them. Some challenges are quite interesting and they bring a lot to the people who take them. I like to challenge myself. I don’t do it in a competition against others but I challenge myself against myself. I have started praying for direction about some challenges that I should take for my spiritual growth. The one the Holy Spirit suggested recently was the “no complaint” challenge. The Lord inspired me to spend a week without complaining about anything. He put it in my heart to be complaint-free for a whole week in my actions and in my words. The goal is for that week to eventually turn into a month and to turn this whole thing into a lifestyle. A life with no complaints is a life well-lived to the glory of God. We complain so much. Complaining is part of our DNA and it comes naturally to a lot of us. Complaints take on different forms and they are hard to perceive at times. We don’t call complaining by its right name when it is so ingrained in us. God wants us to be honest with ourselves and to call a spade a spade. Today I want to invite you to take the “no complaint” challenge with me. Decide that from now on you will pay attention to your complaining and you will work on eliminating it from your life. It is a process and it takes work and effort but it produces great fruit. Jesus calls us not to complain but to rejoice in all things and to keep a grateful heart.

The other day after my morning prayer, I went over the things I needed to take care of that day. I had quite a few errands to run and a meeting to attend. Then the invigorating thought that I had nothing to complain about came to mind. I had a lot to do but in reality none of it was bad. None of it made my life difficult. None of it made me miserable unless I chose to be miserable. None of if was negative in itself. It might have been tedious but a lot of people would love to have the tedious tasks I had. I needed to see them as blessings and not as annoyances. I was blessed to be so busy. I was blessed to have a full schedule. The Lord was whispering to my heart that I had nothing to complain about. I could choose to complain but if I did I would be choosing to do something that the Lord doesn’t want me to do. I would be going against His will and I would be magnifying my flesh instead of letting my spirit take over. My spirit wants to embrace the fruit of the Spirit because I am saved. Your spirit, friend, wants to feed on the fruit of the Spirit and express those wonderful nine traits. Love is at the top of the (spiritual) fruit pyramid. Love doesn’t complain. Love doesn’t focus on what’s wrong. Love sees the good and rejoices over the goodness of the Lord even when things are not going well. Love rejects complaining and that is what I need to adopt in my life. The love attitude is everything!

The “no complaint” challenge consists in simply not complaining about anything. Complaints can be verbal or physical. Our bodies know how to express complaints very well. Look around and observe people and you will notice how body language speaks negatively very easily. The “no complaint” challenge encourages us to not speak about anything negatively and to no complain about anything including small little things. We can do it. We can make sure we don’t say anything that puts the Lord down. Complaining is actually undermining the Lord. When we complain we tell Him what He gives us is not good enough. We tell Him the people in our lives are not good enough. The Bible tells us to watch what we say and to not give way to negative talk. Complaining is negative talk. You might feel better when you complain but it hurts you more than you know spiritually. It creates holes in the fruit of the Spirit that are trying to grow in your life. You end up with half of the apple of love and half of the strawberry of patience so to speak. Our fruit in the Lord should be complete and negativity causes things to decay and fall apart in no time. Complaining is a sport for some of us and we ought to give it up and take on more positive challenges. Love is the best challenge we can take on and when we walk in love we definitely walk in God’s will. Spend the next week focusing on what you say and banish complaints from your life. You will see some very positive changes every day. Stay positive. Stay with Jesus. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God will carry you

About three years ago I wrote a nugget of wisdom that I like to revive from time to time. It says “The Lord has carried you this far. He’s not going to drop you. Your problems and circumstances are not too heavy for Him. He can handle all the weight the enemy is adding to your life.” I feel so much comfort when I read it. The Lord carries me every day. That is how I see Him and that is what I expect Him to do. He takes care of me and He holds me all the time. There isn’t a day when He doesn’t carry me. He makes sure that I don’t get hurt and that I don’t get damaged. Accidents happen and bad things take place but it doesn’t mean that the Lord stops carrying me. It is because He carries me that I am resilient and I refuse to give up. I can get discouraged at times. It is part of being human but the Lord doesn’t let me go down the rabbit hole of hopelessness. His hope pushes me forward and it wakes me up from the nightmare that the enemy wants me to accept as my life. Things get better. Things change. Things improve because the Lord carries me. Today I want to remind you that the Lord is carrying you right now. He will carry you tomorrow and He will continue to hold you and to assist you. You can expect His hand to be over you and to protect you. Don’t get distracted by the bad breaks. They can be very bad but they don’t stand a chance against the goodness of God. Have courage. Stay strong. The Lord will carry you and get you to the finish line.

Even if you are going through a valley of trials and tribulations today, the Lord is still carrying you. He has gotten you this far and He is not ready to let you down. He can’t. It’s not in His nature. God will give you the means to make it through the worst times. He is so powerful that nothing can get in His way and nothing is too difficult for Him. Take comfort in His love for you. You are protected and you are loved. God will make sure that you can make it to your destination. It may take a long time but it will happen. Stand strong in His might. Stay strong and hold on to the truth. The truth is that you are surrounded by the Lord and He is with you all the time. Don’t look left and right. Look at the Lord straight ahead of you. He is taking care of what’s on your left and what’s on your right. Think about how a little child is carried around by her father. She has no fear. She feels secure. She knows she is in good hands. She recognizes that she is in a safe zone in her father’s arms. You are in a safe zone in your Father’s arms. Know that you are shielded. Say it to yourself. Declare God’s protection over your life. Declare His power and His protection. You are in the best hands there is. God carries you all the time despite your awareness of His goodness. Make His goodness real in your life by talking about it and by thanking Him for carrying you.

Your problems are not too heavy for the Lord. He can hold them in His hand and crush them. Today decide to see your problems as the elements of the enemy that can’t destroy the peace in you. Refuse to back down and enjoy the power of God’s hand in your life. God is not only carrying you but He is giving you the power to carry on when things go sour. When the tribulations are so intense, He gives you the ability to keep walking and to keep going. When the sadness is too much to bear, He reminds you that He bore your sorrow on the Cross. The Lord carried you on that cross. He had you in His mind and He had you in His heart. He carried your burdens and He put an end to the misery. Don’t accept misery and sadness. Don’t give them a space in your life. You are above them thanks to the power of the Lord. God is carrying you and holding you way up high about the darts of the enemy. No matter what you are going through right now, God is still carrying you and you are going to make it. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

What God’s love does

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.”* 1 Corinthians chapter 13 is called the love chapter. What attracted me the most to God was His love. I fell in love with His love. His love drew me in. His love touched my heart and made me fall in love with the Savior. It is His love that gave me hope. It welcomed me into His world. It welcomed me into His arms. Before that, God had been a mundane being far away from me. I couldn’t dream to get close to Him or to get to know Him. I felt a major separation from Him and I didn’t understand who He was and why He was so stern and strict. The enemy likes to blur our understanding of God and give us a false picture that makes us feel unworthy and unwanted. Did God want to be close to me? He certainly did but my mind didn’t accept it and it alienated me from God. Love is what bridges the gap between God and us. Love is the way to the Father. Love is the answer and Jesus is love. When you see the love of the Father, you can’t help but notice Jesus. Jesus is everything and He is the love you and I and everyone in the world need. Love is the power that can do all things. Love creates miracles. Love sets us free. Love heals. Love blesses.1 Corinthians 13 also explains that without love we are nothing.

We can do a lot of things that are good and noble but if there is no love behind them, they are empty acts. We can’t operate efficiently without love. Love gives meaning to what we do and to who we are. We can be believers who live our lives without love, without Jesus but then we are not grounded in the truth. Jesus is the truth, the way and the life and He is love. His love is the truth that sets the captives free and as believers we ought to have love in our entire spiritual being. We could have amazing talents and gifts but without love they don’t mean much. Love is powerful because it represents salvation. We were saved because of love. Love is the flame that ignites our salvation. Love, true love from God is everything Jesus is about. When you read the whole chapter (1 Corinthians 13), you are quickly made aware of the fact that love is the most powerful force in the universe and it is the best thing you can long for and you can share. Jesus in us gives us love. He gives us that amazing power and it is up to us to engage with it and to give it life. We put it under a bushel way too often. We are more preoccupied with what appears to be principles and rules in the Bible. We use them as justification for separation and exclusion. Love unites and it brings people together. Jesus unites.

Jesus bridged the gap that had been placed between God and humanity. That is what love does. Love bridges gaps. It unites us with God and it builds bridges in our loves. It builds bridges between us and peace. It builds bridges between us and victory. It builds bridges between us and healing. Whatever blessing you need today, know that God’s love can build a bridge between you and your blessing. Jesus will unite you to your blessing. His love is everything. Embrace it. Let it be a part of your life. Let it be the biggest part of your life. Let it make you sound like Jesus and not like a resounding gong with no substance. Love is the substance of God’s power and it is what you need to express, to adhere to and to share every single day. Like I said, love creates miracles. Faith and love together make wonders. There is a wonder and a miracle in your future because God has your future in the palm of His hand and love is the motive behind everything He does. He is preparing blessings and good breaks for you. Love will always give you great things. Trust in God’s love for you and remind yourself that His love can change anything in your life. If you ever wonder what God’s love can do for you, think about the fact that there is nothing that His love can’t do. God’s love can do the impossible. Think miracles! Think love that prevails over the enemy. May God bless you and protect you and remember that God will always love you!

The God of miracles

What do you need now? What do you need for your situation to get better? You might need a miracle or at least it might feel like a miracle is what it would take for your circumstances to improve. The good news is that God is in the business of miracles. He is the inventor of miracles and He has a lot of experience with miracles. As a matter of fact, miracles are in His veins. God is a miracle. That is how I see Him. He came into my life and saved me. He is the miracle I had been waiting for so long. I am getting to know Him and I am learning about His miracle-working power. He is more proficient in miracles than anyone you will ever meet. Therefore, you should go to Him. Turn to Him today. Ask for your miracle. Pray to Him. Be a relentless prayer warrior and show Him that you know He is the miracle maker. God is a miracle maker. What seems like a miracle to us is just another normal act to Him. Parting the seas, turning water into wine are just everyday occurrences for Him. We don’t see them happen because we don’t have the faith for it. It sometimes takes corporate faith for major things like that to take place. Get to know the God of miracles. In the Bible you will find many accounts of His miracles and you will be amazed by His power and by what He can do. He can do the impossible. If there is one thing you should retain from this message is that God can do the impossible. Your miracle is not that far away and it is not something God has to come up with after a long period of reflection and planning. God can reverse any situation, restore anything that needs to be fixed and improve any circumstances. There is something great that will happen to you when you rely on God. You don’t have to bring a huge amount of faith to Him. All He needs is your mustard seed of faith and a heart that is open and willing to receive from Him. The God of miracles can take your situation and make it so much better that you will completely forget that you were in distress at one point.

The parting of the Red Sea is one of the miracles in the Bible that has had the most impact on me. It is an act of God that represents what God can do very well. Who could part the seas and make a path for people to walk on if not God? I am sure that with today’s technology men could do something similar but we are talking about an event that took place centuries ago when such a thing was inconceivable. I have been faced with a Red Sea of my own before. A barrier, a huge hurdle, an impossible situation that kept me from reaching a place of peace. I have contemplated that sea and thought many times that there was no way I would be able to go through it or to come out of it in one piece. My heart used to get broken a lot and I would find its many pieces on the threshold of hope with too much discouragement to even think of repair and restoration. However, God has come through for me all the time. He has picked up the pieces and put my heart back together better than it had been before. God is not intimidated by the seas. It doesn’t matter how big and rocky the oceans of your life are. God can part them and neutralize them. With one word He can make them move away from your path and He can make you walk on dry land. Think of the dry land as the path to your miracles. Many are the paths of the Lord so be assured that no sea can stop Him and He will not only make your path clear but He will make sure that it leads to a great miracle.

When I started thinking about how miracles are nothing extraordinary for God, it helped my thinking align with God’s. Miracles are amazing events that defy logic and nature. God is an amazing God who defies logic and nature and it is in His nature to create miracles. Trust and believe that the miracle you need today is something that God will do for you very easily. Trust and believe that God loves you very much and He is more than willing to shower you with miracles. Trust and believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He has never stopped performing miracles. Join the group of believers that know without a doubt that miracles are for us today. Join the group of believers that understand that God is the miracle-worker that the world needs today. The outcome of your current situation doesn’t hinge upon your abilities, your money, your intellect and your luck. It all depends on your Savior and He is the God of miracles. He is the One who is going to solve your problem. He is the One you should put in charge of your situation by faith. It is not over yet. Your miracle can still take place. God is not too late and He is not limited by time and space. He has enough room to create something miraculous in your life and He always has the perfect timing. You are so blessed! You are a child of the God of miracles! Stretch out your hand over your sea of problems and the Lord will drive it away from you and make a way for dry land and there will be a path to your miracle!

The best way to interrupt your day

As I was praying yesterday I spent some time meditating on prayer. I thought about the importance of prayer because it has been a strong recurring theme lately. The Lord is showing me how crucial our prayer life is. Before I had a prayer life, I have to say that life was not easy. Life is still challenging but my prayer life impacts every difficulty I encounter and it makes things so much better. A prayer life is a life that revolves around prayer. It is a life where your schedule is built around God. You don’t squeeze God in. You make Him the focus of the day so everything else has to align with your commitment to the Lord. To me, prayer is more than words uttered to God. There is a lot of praise and worship going on during my prayer time and gratitude is a big part of it as well. I also listen to God. Sometimes my prayers are all about listening. I quiet my mind and I come before the Lord ready to receive. I have dedicated times when I am in prayer but I most recently learned about interrupting my day with prayer. I puncture the day with prayer time and it is the best thing ever!

I call those daily interruptions the best part of my day. My day used to be about my day meaning that the busyness of the day was my priority. My schedule and my agenda dominated my thinking and played a major role in my day more than God. Now I interrupt the busyness of the day with God. He is the constant thread throughout the day and I make that thread more apparent by letting my love for God stand out several times a day. The interruptions were planned at first but now they are more spontaneous. I have my praise breaks, my prayer times and my “joy injections”. They are all injections. We need to inject Jesus into our days as often as possible. He makes the day more enjoyable and He brings so much peace and joy. Praying to Him all day is the best habit I have ever developed because it increases my faith. It stops me from getting anxious and it neutralizes stress when it tries to control me. Prayer is the perfect ingredient for a great day with God. It is the interruption you need because it won’t let you sink into a hole of fear and distress.

The daily interruptions are a powerful way to stay connected with God. You can hear from Him and receive wisdom throughout the day. They are what you need to maintain a healthy relationship with the Lord. They can last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more. The more you have them, the more you will understand how they work because every time you take the time to pray you take the time to be in sync with the Holy Spirit. He will guide you and encourage you. He will tell when to take a praise break and when to dive into a prayer session. With time and practice it will become second nature and you will be able to pray without ceasing like the Bible says. God deserves most of our attention and a few sessions a day is something we can do and it is worth it. The spiritual boost you will gain from the daily “God interruptions” is going to change you on the inside and bless you on the outside. Have daily interruptions for God. Let your day be all about Him.

Your prayers are powerful

Friend, your prayers are powerful. You better believe it. You better start believing it. God said “ask and you shall receive” so when you pray, know that what you are asking is going to come to pass. You have to have more faith in God’s ability to make things come to pass and you have to trust that He hears you. He loves you and He wants to bless you. He is not turning a deaf ear to your prayers. You have what it takes to say powerful prayers. Your words matter. Your words carry weight. Your words make a difference as long as they are based on the Word of God and they are spoken in the name of Jesus. You see, Jesus gave us the authority to use His name when we pray. His name is the name above all names and it can create miracles. All you have to do is say what’s in your heart according to His Word and believe that He is listening and He is answering your prayers. Remember that without faith we can’t please God. This means that we need faith to move the hand of God. It doesn’t mean that He doesn’t like us when we have no faith. Our faith gets things activated and it moves the heart of God. Your words spoken with faith move the heart of God. How beautiful is that?! Make your words count. Make your prayers count by aligning them with God’s will and by persevering. Keep praying and keep declaring that God heard you. Add gratitude and thanksgiving to your prayers. Say bold prayers. Say prayers that move mountains. Not because of who you are but because of the One who listens to you and who has already answered your prayers. Your prayers are powerful, friend. Praise God for that!

Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed. Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and He brought them to their desired haven (Psalm 107:28-30). God has been answering prayers for centuries. In the Old Testament, He came to the rescue of those who called on Him. Now that we have Jesus there is even more of a reason for Him to answer our prayers. Jesus is the go-between, the bridge between the Father and us and when we pray in His name, God listens. He hears us. There is no doubting that we are being heard. I suggest you meditate on that truth. Make it a goal to develop your faith in how God hears you. We need to take the time to understand that our heavenly Father is an expert at listening and at acting in our favor. Our prayers don’t stay dormant in an in-between realm where everything is stale. Our prayers in the name of Jesus go straight to God and reach His heart. They are with Him and they don’t come back empty. God loves to hear our voices and He loves it when we turn to Him. We are the ones who complicate the whole process. Prayers are simple. They were never meant to be difficult. Pray to the Father in the name of Jesus and rest assured that things are going to change and that God is doing something great for you. Keep reminding yourself of that. It is a simple truth and it should be the foundation of your faith in the power of your prayers. They are powerful because the name of Jesus is powerful. His name is supercharged with life-changing power. His name sets us up for victory and for greatness.

Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere (Ephesians 6:18). Strong prayers are persistent. They keep happening. They are not a one time occurrence. If you want to have strong prayers, don’t stop praying. No matter what the outcome is, keep on praying. Pray at all times. Make the most of any time of the day and pray. Pray and pray. A prayer warrior is someone who prays despite the circumstances. Someone who knows that he or she is being heard even when the world seems to be against them and nothing is happening. Sometimes things take a long time. It doesn’t mean that your prayers are not being answered. Continue praying and saying those powerful words. Your words are changing the spiritual atmosphere and they are setting things in motion. Hold on to faith. Pray with faith in the Lord. You are doing the praying and He is doing the rest. He has everything set in place and He is just waiting for your fervent prayers. Show Him that you know He is on your side. Today I encourage you to say your prayers in Jesus’ name and to thank Him for having heard you. Add faith to what you say. Remember that it is powerful and expect great things in Jesus’ name. Your prayers are powerful!

God still multiplies today

When I was praying yesterday I kept thinking about how Jesus multiplied the bread and the fish. I decided to dig a little deeper and go to those scriptures in the Bible. Jesus did it twice. The first time he had five loaves of bread and two fish and he multiplied them and fed five thousand people. The second time he had seven loaves and some small fish and he fed four thousand people. That is quite a miracle! Can Jesus still multiply today? Absolutely. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Thousands of people had gathered to listen to Jesus preach. Jesus’ disciples noticed that the masses were hungry and they had nothing to give them. They went to Jesus and told Him about their dilemma. Did Jesus panic? No, He did quite the opposite. He took the little bit of food that they had, prayed for it and the food was multiplied and filled many baskets. People ate and were satisfied. There were even baskets of food left. Those people had come to be healed and to hear Jesus speak. Jesus felt bad when He saw they were hungry and He performed a miracle. Are you hungry for more today? Have you gone to Jesus to listen to Him? Whatever you have now, He can multiply it. Give Him the little you have and He will increase it.

I go to the Lord with little faith at times and I give Him what I have. A mustard seed of faith is all we need. When we ask the Lord to help us and we present the mustard seed, we can expect Him to do something big that will amplify our faith. The Lord still performs miracles today. All He is asking is that we turn to Him with what we have. He will do the rest. It always works. Give Him the little joy, peace and love you have and watch Him multiply them. Be sure to first spend time listening to Him. Get yourself comfortable and sit with His Word. Spend time studying it and seeking the Lord’s face in His Word. It will also increase your faith and it will get you ready to receive more. If there is anything you are lacking today, trust that God can multiply it. Build up your faith and give the Lord what you have.

The Lord can give us more than enough. Think about the baskets that were left over. There was an abundance of food. There is an abundance of blessings available to you today. I am not necessarily talking about materialistic things. God is Spirit and I believe that the spiritual is more important. What are some things in your spiritual life that you want to see multiplied? Do you want to pray more? Do you want to praise more? Do you want to be an even bigger giver? Do you want to have more patience? Do you want to display more joy? All these needs can be met in the name of Jesus. Identify the needs. Present them to the Lord and ask Him to amplify them or to increase them. You will reap a harvest of blessings when you stay in faith.

Jesus told the crowds to sit down on the ground before He prayed for the bread and the fish. Sitting down is often a good way to calm oneself. The Lord is telling you today to trust Him and sit down. Your needs might be many but with Him there is no reason to panic. Listen to His instructions. Try to calm down first and pay attention. The Lord is not worried about your situation. He knows what He can do with the little you are giving Him. Expect increase, multiplication and amplification. God still multiplies today. A miracle is on its way. Stay at peace and stay encouraged!

Believing in miracles today

Reading about the miracles of the Lord in the Bible is very inspiring. However, we can hardly imagine that such great things could happen nowadays.  I believe there is a need for a shift in our thinking. God’s miracles are not dead. Our faith in them has not been properly activated. Jesus said He could not perform miracles where people didn’t believe in Him. He visited places where there was no faith. Places that were spiritually barren. Places where no seeds of faith had been sown. Places where Jesus was not welcome and not accepted. Places that had their own beliefs and their own gods. We all have a space where we accept or reject God. We all have faith. It is either in God or in something else. Some of us have spaces of belief that are fertile and rich in God’s presence because we welcome Him. Some of us have spaces of disbelief where God is nowhere to be found. I strive to have a big space dedicated to the Lord. A space where anything can happen because the Lord is welcome and He is present. I am done chasing Him away with doubt and fear. Those two negative agents still come to bother me but I resist them with the truth. I don’t want to let them into my space of belief. I sometimes have to do a lot of rebuking and rejecting. I don’t think I will ever be able to be passive when it comes to my faith. Faith is active and it keeps busy. It is busy believing and knowing. We can stretch our faith to the point where we know that God’s miracles are still alive and that they can happen anytime.

Today I am here to remind you that the God of miracles is still here. Just because you don’t see miracles happen doesn’t mean they are dead. I am inviting you today to revive your space of belief. Get it activated again or ignite it for the first time for miracles. How do you get there? Go back to the basics. Go back to the Word of God. Go to the source. Go to the One who performs those miracles. Get to know Him better. Don’t just get acquainted with Him. Know Him as the Father that He is. Know Him for yourself. Don’t rely on what others are saying. Relying on what He is saying about Himself. Study Him. Meditate on Him. Pray to Him. Talk to Him. Learn about His miracles. Invite Him into your space of belief. Cultivate that space with His words. Feed on His Word and fill that space with His truth. Let His voice of truth be louder than the doubts of the enemy. Miracles are here today and they are waiting for you to believe. Focus on Jesus and not on the miracles. You need Him. He is the originator of miracles. Seek His face and you will find the complexion of His wonderful deeds. Great deeds indeed will take place in the name of Jesus.

When you look at the media and when you consult the general public’s opinion, you can easily see that miracles are not on anyone’s radar. The focus has been on “self.” We have put ourselves so much in the center of everything that God is on the outside. We focus so much on our human nature that we can’t connect with the spiritual nature of God. We are so money driven that we can’t see the point in wanting more of a spiritual life. If we believe in miracles, we believe in the financial aspect first because of how our world functions. God’s miracles can be financial blessings but they are more than that. They are transformations, changes, alterations, incredible events that are all meant to glorify Him. Miracles are blessings to us but they give God the glory before anything else. The world gives itself the glory and that is why there is a spiritual clash that prevents some miracles to take place. There are too many spaces that have the wrong definition of who God is and what His miracles entail. That is happening in some churches as well. Let’s go back to God’s definition of God. Let’s go back to His miracles. Let’s think of Jesus first. Let’s believe that He should always get the glory. Let’s be the revived pioneers of faith in God’s miracles. Healing is a miracle that is not present in many places and it is people like you and me who trust and believe in the Lord that can bring it back. Take a stand for who God is and that includes the God of miracles. Not just for you but for a world who longs for true miracles and who needs them. Believing in miracles today begins with you and me!
