To God be all the glory

My life has been a testimony to God’s glory. When I look back I can clearly see the times when the Lord has intervened in my life. The encounters with the Lord have been many. There are the daily encounters during prayer and at various times during the day. There are the encounters that take my breath away and that make me feel like I hate stepped into another dimension. I remember in October 2019 on a Saturday morning, I was transported into the arena of God’s glory. I started praising the Lord like I usually do in the morning but I sensed something different. Before I knew it I was face down on the floor crying and rejoicing at the same time. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong that all I could do was cry and stay on the ground. I was in reverence before the Lord and I was convinced that being on my knees was not enough.

During that praise time, I had to be as close to the floor as possible because His majestic presence was so prevalent in my bedroom. I remember saying “If only people knew” many times. If only people knew how awesome and glorious the Lord is was what I am hinting at. The truth is that God is awesome and glorious all the time. We might not see it. We might not feel it but it is always true. I don’t think that we can experience a high level of God’s glory every day but we can see how His glory is impacting our lives even in the small things. God is always glorious so He deserves our praise all the time. I want to challenge you to praise the Lord more this week. I am inviting you to set up some time to worship Him more than before and to give Him the glory.

“To God be all the glory” is what we read in a lot of passages in the Bible and what we find in a number of Christian songs. Are our lives singing that same refrain? Are our actions giving God the glory? I wonder about that often when it comes to how much glory I give the Lord. I know that life gets busy and praising and worshipping the Lord can be put on the back burner but I also know that it is the wrong way to approach life. Praise and worship should be inserted into our lives. They should be planned or spontaneous but letting days go by without praise is not honoring God. We think that a little prayer here and there will be enough. It is not enough. It can be a harsh reality but it is God’s reality.

We can’t skip prayer and we can’t skip praise. It’s not like praise and prayer will line up nicely in our lives when we prioritize other things. We should be active worshippers of the Lord. If you want your actions and your deeds to praise the Lord, I suggest you start with singing. Have a devoted time to praise the Lord with singing. Singing is just one way we can give God the glory but it is a great start. Give God the glory with praise sessions. Sing out loud or sing in your heart but given the amount of praise in the Bible, you and I should be more actively praising the Lord.

When we praise the Lord, we tell Him basically that He is more important than anyone else or anything else that is going on in our lives. We take the time to focus on Him and to lift Him up. We acknowledge that He is glorious and we exalt Him. David knew how to praise the Lord in an amazing way. He is a great motivator to all of us. I read Psalms on a regular basis and they inspire me to praise more. One of God’s messages to us is “Do not worry. Praise Me instead.” I love that message and I apply it as often as I can. Praise is the opposite of worry. When you praise the Lord, you indicate that God is in control. You recognize His power in your life and you get a strong sense of security.

Praise is what we need all the time. It gives our faith a boost and it truly declares, “To God be all the glory.” He deserves our praise. Let’s praise Him more. Let’s praise Him more than we worry. Let’s do whatever we do to the glory of God. Let’s praise Him through our lives. There are so many ways we can give God the glory. Find the ways that work best for you and turn them into habits. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Hope in Jesus

I talk about hope a lot because God is a God of hope. I didn’t know that when the God I was familiar with was a God of religion and restrictions. I was always under the impression that hope was limited to a few privileged believers in God. Isn’t that sad? Some of the doctrines I subscribed to were very dismissive and void of hope. They focused on being pious and on getting rewards from God based on what I did right. Every time I made a mistake, I felt guilty and unworthy. There was no real hope for redemption or for salvation to tell you the truth. I completely misunderstood what God was all about and I had no hope. I didn’t believe that things could get better in my life. I did my best to please God but hope was never something I experienced. This all changed once I got in touch with the real God.

I got in touch with God by entering into His gates through Jesus. Jesus became my doorway to God, my doorway to Heaven and my doorway to the truth. One of the first things that stood out about Jesus was how much hope He gave me. The more I got to know Him, the more I was filled with hope. First, there was hope for salvation. I became aware of His salvation and of His role in the whole process. He had died on the cross for my sins and I could receive salvation through Him. He was the guardian of all good things and hope was part of them. When you encounter Jesus, you can’t help but become hopeful. Life takes on a new meaning. You are in the presence of hope and it changes your perspective and your outlook on life.

If you are looking for hope today, remember that it is still alive and well and you can always find hope in Jesus. Don’t look at your hopeless circumstances. Change your focus and look at Jesus. Spend time reading about Him and talking to Him. He will give you hope. You will discover that He is the hope of the world and that with Him everything is possible. With Him, life is not a series of failures and defeats. With Him, life is a series of challenges that get resolved and defeats that get defeated. Yes, Jesus will defeat your defeats. Isn’t that amazing? He will turn your worst situations into blessings and rivers of hope will flow through your life.

There is nothing that the Lord can’t change and nothing He can’t fix. When you have Jesus, you have the best chance to make it. He is a situation changer. He is a hope giver and His hope is never in vain. He doesn’t fake His hope and His promises. He keeps His promises and one of them is to give you hope to get through anything in life. You have the Savior of the world in you and with you and hope is never going to leave you. You might lose sight of it. You might forget about it. You might not believe in it but it doesn’t mean that hope is not there. It is always there and it always fulfills its purpose. Hope’s purpose is to confirm God’s goodness and it is a great witness to His faithfulness.

When you hope in Jesus, you hope in love, life-changing power and endless possibilities. You never know what God can do in your life when you have His hope in you. He can stretch possibilities and multiply blessings. He can reverse the course of your life and put you on a path where peace and joy will be strewn all over the place. God’s path for your life is paved with hope. Every step of the way you should believe there is hope. Every step of the way you should keep in mind that things are not the way they look but they are the way the Lord says they are. Faith will help you walk through the worst valleys and climb the highest mountains. The King of hope will carry you through everything and you will be able to overcome the most difficult circumstances.

Jesus is the hope you need today and you will never be disappointed when you fix your eyes on Him and you refuse to succumb to the world’s problems. Problems will never go away but neither will Jesus and if you have Jesus, you have all you need. If you have Jesus, you have all you need. Keep your hopes up. Keep your hopes in Jesus. Keep walking and trusting and you will never go astray. Hope is a blessing that will always walk by your side. Stay strong. Stay encouraged and stay hopeful. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God’s light

When I got eye surgery, my life completely changed. I went from having to wear contacts or glasses all the time to be being able to see all the time without any assistance. It was like night and day. I never thought that I could ever see that clearly without glasses. It was as if I had stepped into a new dimension. Everything looked so real and so true. It is hard to explain but what I can say is that it was one of the best moments of my life in terms of transformation. However, the best moment of my life, hands down, was when I got saved. It was a similar experience but on a much higher level. I went from being spiritually blind to being able to see the light. I had lived in darkness for a while. I had had glimpses of hope and glimpses of who the Lord was all about but those glimpses didn’t compare to the real thing. They were nice previews that gave me a reason to pursue Jesus. Those insights into who the Lord was were like contacts and lenses that allowed me to see the truth for a short time. When I got saved, the light became permanent and I was able to see what I had been missing my whole life. The light of the Lord is such a powerful tool in our lives and we should never underestimate it. We should cherish God’s light and His truth and keep walking in it with our spiritual eyes wide open.

The Word of God is a lamp into our feet. His Word is the lamp that can guide us into all things. We can never stay in the dark when we follow the lamp of the Lord. We should actually spend a lot of time in His Word so we can be enlightened and filled with wisdom. The amount of darkness that is in the world is huge and we need to work against so many principalities and powers. The power to counteract those evil forces is only found in the Lord and His Word gives us instructions on how to stay in His light and how to avoid the traps of darkness. When I read the Word of God, it is like a light is turned on and I can see into some of the mysteries of God. This happens when I read and study the Word prayerfully. When I get in sync with the Spirit of God, His Word comes alive and I dive into the wonderful world of our Savior. I love spending time in the Word especially when the world is so chaotic. I find peace and I find joy when I am in the Word. I strongly encourage you to make it a habit to turn on the light of the Lord and to stay under the rays of His great love. His light will refresh you and invigorate you. It will open your eyes and it will close the doors to the darkness that tries to mislead you. God’s light is the truth that you need to be set free so embrace His light, embrace His Word.

When someone turns on a light, darkness scatters. Some people would say that darkness disappears and I love that idea as well. God, the light, can make your darkness disappear when you turn on His light. Your enemies, your fears and your doubts will scatter when you turn on the light of the Lord. How do you turn it on? Like I mentioned earlier, the Word of God is the light you need and being familiar with it is crucial. Making sure that the Word of God has an important part in your life is extremely helpful. Jesus brings light and He is the light so daily communion with Him also allows you to turn on the light that will always set you free. Jesus will not only give you insights into who He is and how He made you but He will teach you how to live a fulfilling life in Him. He is the light that keeps on giving more light so don’t expect Him to ever be extinguished in your life. He is always on. You might have to adjust how you connect with Him but He is always on and always ready to shine in your life. He is like that permanent contact lens that enables you to see clearly at all times. Jesus will help you deal with all forms of spiritual blindness so stick to Him and stay close to Him. He is the best light you will ever find. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

Amazing God

On Saturday night when I was praying, I kept talking about how amazing God was. I made a list of all the amazing things He does all the time and all the wonderful traits He has. I thanked God for His amazing ways. I said “Thank You Lord for Your amazing love, Your amazing peace, Your amazing joy.” I thanked Him for being amazing at everything He does and for sharing His amazing grace with all of us. I spent time focusing on our amazing God and no one else and nothing else. I think we don’t do that often. We talk about what we need more than we talk about the One who can give us all we need. We ought to talk more about His amazing presence and His amazing faithfulness. God is amazing in all His ways. He is not like any human beings. He is not like any event or any place we know. He is above it all. He is more amazing than historical events and facts. He is more amazing than humans’ biggest achievements. He is in a category of His own and He should be celebrated for being amazing and good. He is an incredible Lord and today I want to encourage you to celebrate how amazing God is.

God has amazing love for all of us. When we look at the definition of the word amazing, we find that it is something or someone that causes great surprise or wonder. God is the God of all wonders. He is wonderful in everything and He causes us to marvel at His greatness. Do you ever find yourself in wonder and in awe before God? If it doesn’t happen often, I invite you to discover the wonders of God. You can find them in His Word and you can locate them in your life. God is amazing at making our lives good even when things don’t look good. We need to take the time to look at our lives and see the amazing things that the Lord has placed in us and around us. Our amazing God has put some amazing attributes in us through the alliance between His Spirit and our spirits. When we give in to the Holy Spirit, amazing traits show up and we become imitators of the Lord. It is truly an amazing experience that can be a daily occurrence.

God has amazing peace and amazing joy for all of us. Peace and joy are two things that many of us pursue. We can have peace and joy through the world or we can have them through the Lord. I will always opt for the Lord’s amazing peace and love. Why are they amazing? They are amazing because they depend on God and not on our circumstances. God gives us peace and joy regardless of what is going on in our lives. He is the One who is going on in our lives and His presence alone trumps the misery and the pain that trials and tribulations can bring. God has amazing peace for you today, friend. His peace is much bigger than the strongest darts of the enemy. The fiery attacks of the enemy are not match for God’s amazing peace and joy. Start meditating on that truth. There is amazing peace for you that is invincible. No one can conquer the Lord and that makes Him amazing. Nothing can trample the Lord and that makes Him amazing. Nothing can prevail against the Lord and that makes Him amazing. You have an amazing Lord. Tell Him how amazing He is to you. Say it to yourself. Build a fortress of confidence in you of how amazing God is. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

God’s love endures forever

When I need a boost, I spend time looking into God’s love. I know that His steadfast love never ends. My misery or any negative feeling I have ends when I focus on His love. God’s love puts an end to all forms of suffering that we might experience. Pain, sadness, sorrow and hurt can’t win again God’s love. I rub His love against my problems and my emotions and His love always prevails. If you are feeling funky today and you are not thrilled about how things are going in your life, rub God’s love against whatever is bothering you and you will see a major change. Remember that God’s love will always be stronger than anything the enemy sends your way. As a young Christian I was floored by Romans 8:38-39 that tells us that nothing can separate us from God’s love. I love how these verses enumerate all possible obstacles that might try to get between God and us. None of them can ever separate us from God and from His love. I don’t like heights and deep oceans and the Bible declares that no depth can separate you and me from God’s love. Now, think about the depth of your problems or the depth of the negative emotions that are haunting you. They might be very deep and debilitating but they can’t conquer God’s love. Rub God’s love against them but letting His love be what you lift up. Don’t exalt the bad feelings. Squash them with God’s love. Don’t let them take on a life of their own that will drag you down and hurt you.

Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever. Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.”* Today I want to encourage you to join in and make that declaration. Declare that God’s steadfast love endures forever. It can’t be quenched and it can’t be deleted from your life. No matter what you do and no matter what you go through, God’s love will remain the same. It is such a strong encouragement from the Lord Himself. It is a promise He made and He always keeps His promises. When things go wrong, God’s love is not extinguished. His love is a burning fire that will remove all negativity from your life and that will make things right. His love is supreme and it is bigger than all the hate of the enemy. When you think about it, the enemy hands out his hate to all of us all the time. He does it through negative thoughts, trials, tribulations, overwhelming negative emotions and other dark schemes. He is the king of this world but that doesn’t mean he has to rule our lives. As a matter of fact, you and I should dethrone him in our lives. We should constantly make Jesus the King of our lives. We should constantly tap into Jesus’ love and reject the abuse of the enemy. We can do that by deciding to react to the bad offerings of the enemy with God’s peace and with faith. Jesus said His love was enough and that should be enough for us to keep on going and to stay hopeful.

Give thanks to God today then because His love will get you through anything. Your biggest problems are no match for God’s love. Your biggest fears are no match for God’s love. Your biggest doubts are no match for God’s love. Your biggest trials are no match for God’s love. You are going to make it because of God’s love. His love is hope and peace and it is available to you all the time. Every morning when you wake up, thank God for His love. Throughout the day, Thank God for His love. Keep a grateful heart and you will feel better. Keep a grateful heart and you will have more hope. Keep a grateful heart and you will see the goodness of God in your life. There is so much good around you and in you and God’s love is the reason for all the wonderful things in your life. The enemy will keep on trying to blind you to the goodness of God so keep thanking the Lord even when you don’t feel like it. There is hope with the Lord, friend. There is always hope. God’s love is a bulldozer that can flatten any hurdles and remove any yokes and pain. You are going to get better in the name of Jesus because of His powerful love for you. You are going to have better days in the name of Jesus because of His powerful love for you. You are going to conquer the negative thoughts that keep popping in your head because of the Lord’s powerful love for you. Things are about to change for you. God is tilting the scale in your favor. Stay encouraged and stay strong. May God bless you and protect you and remember that He will always love you!

The God of miracles

What do you need now? What do you need for your situation to get better? You might need a miracle or at least it might feel like a miracle is what it would take for your circumstances to improve. The good news is that God is in the business of miracles. He is the inventor of miracles and He has a lot of experience with miracles. As a matter of fact, miracles are in His veins. God is a miracle. That is how I see Him. He came into my life and saved me. He is the miracle I had been waiting for so long. I am getting to know Him and I am learning about His miracle-working power. He is more proficient in miracles than anyone you will ever meet. Therefore, you should go to Him. Turn to Him today. Ask for your miracle. Pray to Him. Be a relentless prayer warrior and show Him that you know He is the miracle maker. God is a miracle maker. What seems like a miracle to us is just another normal act to Him. Parting the seas, turning water into wine are just everyday occurrences for Him. We don’t see them happen because we don’t have the faith for it. It sometimes takes corporate faith for major things like that to take place. Get to know the God of miracles. In the Bible you will find many accounts of His miracles and you will be amazed by His power and by what He can do. He can do the impossible. If there is one thing you should retain from this message is that God can do the impossible. Your miracle is not that far away and it is not something God has to come up with after a long period of reflection and planning. God can reverse any situation, restore anything that needs to be fixed and improve any circumstances. There is something great that will happen to you when you rely on God. You don’t have to bring a huge amount of faith to Him. All He needs is your mustard seed of faith and a heart that is open and willing to receive from Him. The God of miracles can take your situation and make it so much better that you will completely forget that you were in distress at one point.

The parting of the Red Sea is one of the miracles in the Bible that has had the most impact on me. It is an act of God that represents what God can do very well. Who could part the seas and make a path for people to walk on if not God? I am sure that with today’s technology men could do something similar but we are talking about an event that took place centuries ago when such a thing was inconceivable. I have been faced with a Red Sea of my own before. A barrier, a huge hurdle, an impossible situation that kept me from reaching a place of peace. I have contemplated that sea and thought many times that there was no way I would be able to go through it or to come out of it in one piece. My heart used to get broken a lot and I would find its many pieces on the threshold of hope with too much discouragement to even think of repair and restoration. However, God has come through for me all the time. He has picked up the pieces and put my heart back together better than it had been before. God is not intimidated by the seas. It doesn’t matter how big and rocky the oceans of your life are. God can part them and neutralize them. With one word He can make them move away from your path and He can make you walk on dry land. Think of the dry land as the path to your miracles. Many are the paths of the Lord so be assured that no sea can stop Him and He will not only make your path clear but He will make sure that it leads to a great miracle.

When I started thinking about how miracles are nothing extraordinary for God, it helped my thinking align with God’s. Miracles are amazing events that defy logic and nature. God is an amazing God who defies logic and nature and it is in His nature to create miracles. Trust and believe that the miracle you need today is something that God will do for you very easily. Trust and believe that God loves you very much and He is more than willing to shower you with miracles. Trust and believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and He has never stopped performing miracles. Join the group of believers that know without a doubt that miracles are for us today. Join the group of believers that understand that God is the miracle-worker that the world needs today. The outcome of your current situation doesn’t hinge upon your abilities, your money, your intellect and your luck. It all depends on your Savior and He is the God of miracles. He is the One who is going to solve your problem. He is the One you should put in charge of your situation by faith. It is not over yet. Your miracle can still take place. God is not too late and He is not limited by time and space. He has enough room to create something miraculous in your life and He always has the perfect timing. You are so blessed! You are a child of the God of miracles! Stretch out your hand over your sea of problems and the Lord will drive it away from you and make a way for dry land and there will be a path to your miracle!

10 nuggets of wisdom for your Saturday (Part 120)

Keep your emotions on a tight leash. Don’t let them get out of control. Control them with the leash of rebuke. Rebuke them and reject them in the name of Jesus. Use your authority over them even when they come back to bite you.

Your faith might be sleeping right now but God can wake it up. Ask for a wake-up call. Pray and God will strengthen you and revive the mustard seed in you.

God is about to drop things on your lap that you never expected. Keep believing, keep trusting. The best is yet to come!

Check your spiritual temperature and be sure to call on the Holy Spirit if you have a fever. He is the best doctor and the best counselor. He will get you back on your feet in no time!

If we could be more in sync with the beat of God’s heart we would be more in harmony with love, peace, faith and joy.

Give God the microphone so He can speak over your life before you sing songs of sadness and despair. God knows the right tunes for your life and He will change the music that has been bringing you down.

You have God’s support. You’re going to make it. You are not going to fail. Repeat that to yourself as much as you can. God is on your side!

There is a breakthrough around the corner. It is going to come out of nowhere. God is going to show up when you least expect it. Don’t give up! You’re almost there!

God is always listening and smiling. We are often deaf to His voice and frowning. Turn that frown upside down and prick up your spiritual ears. God is always talking so be ready to be listening.

There is a reason for you to celebrate. There is a reason for you to smile again. There is a reason for you to rest. There is a reason for you to love again. There is a reason to have hope again. The reason is Jesus!

What faith does

Sometimes it’s hard to imagine that good things can happen to us. Sometimes it’s hard to see a bright future when all we’ve seen is a miserable life. Sometimes good things seem too good to be true. Sometimes misery is our number one enemy. Sometimes hope is not on the agenda of our lives. Sometimes peace is not our companion. Despite all that we have a Lord who is not the God of the sometimes but the God of all the time. He is good all the time and He is able all the time. With Him we can take a step back and rethink how we see life. It can be dismal and it can look bad but the One who can change the worst life is on our side. He is the One you should be looking at and not our situation. Faith shows us God’s reality and that is the one reality that we should be focusing on. What does it look like? It looks like the opposite of all the bad things we can imagine. It looks like the opposite of what the enemy wants us to believe. It looks good and it looks bright. It is not a picture perfect put together by the expectations of the world. It is God’s picture perfect and it can turn a bleak image into a beautiful portrait.

Today I want to remind you that sometimes life is bad but God is good all the time. A bad day or a bad month don’t make God bad. He is not the source of our problems. He is the author of our solutions. Just because we can’t see the end of the tunnel doesn’t mean that there is no end. The end of the tunnel of torment will come. You will be propelled to the end when you least expect it and faith can show you the end way before it happens. It is faith that should be drawing a picture of our reality. Imagine living a life where faith is all we know, all we see and all we go by? That life is attainable. God provides it and we can embark on it. It is a powerful journey. The journey of faith doesn’t ignore the trials but it doesn’t give them value. Faith always values God’s promises over the world’s problems. Faith sees how God can turn bad into good. Faith is an eyesight. It is the eyesight that gives you access to the world of the impossible. It gives you access to a world where God is always in control and your emotions have no control. It is also a language that contradicts the language of the world.

My recommendation is that you adopt the language of faith. Learn how to speak it fluently. Get the lingo from God’s Word. Practice speaking faith as much as possible. Remember that faith is not influenced by emotions and feelings so don’t let them get in the way. Speak above your feelings. Speak above the pain. Speak against the thoughts that are keeping you captive. Speak with authority against the army of the enemy that is trying to destroy you. Speak great things into existence. Speak miracles into your life. Speak against the storms of doubt. Speak what you want to see happen in agreement with God’s will. Just like any other language, faith has a grammatical structure. There are subjects and action verbs. The main subject is the Lord and the action verbs are verbs of confidence, verbs of power, verbs of love and verbs of accomplishment. Faith speaks in the present tense about events that are in the future. Faith sees now even though nothing is happening. Faith has the confidence that every good thing can happen. Faith doesn’t doubt and it doesn’t use the phrase “what if” unless it is in a positive context. Faith keeps every sentence God-centered, love-centered and hope-centered. Faith is an active mode. It is not passive. It is reactive and it is productive. It will always produce great fruit in our lives. Speak the language of faith more and more and become fluent. It will change the way you approach everything in life in Jesus’ name!

The Holy Spirit and you are a team

“Two is better than one” is a popular saying that is very biblical. We are called to partner with the Holy Spirit. We were never meant to do this life alone. You and the Spirit of God form a partnership that can grow into an amazing relationship depending on how much you nurture it. The Bible also talks about the power of two or more people. There is something special when you are connected with someone else in the Lord. The power of a good union is tremendous. This also means that if we are connected to the wrong people or to the wrong influences than the results are more catastrophic than if we were by ourselves. Two people connected whether for good or bad reasons can do a lot. I love that I can pray with certain people and I know that our prayers are stronger together. Today I want to encourage you to partner with the Holy Spirit. Talk to Him. Include Him in all you do. He is a Person and He wants to be in contact with you all the time. When you flow with Him, you go down rivers of joy, peace, strength and faith.

The Holy Spirit gives strength. It took me a while to realize that. When we are in touch with Him and we let Him guide us, we receive strength. He gives us the strength to do anything. We can’t expect to have all the answers and to know what to do all the time. That is why recognizing that the Holy Spirit is the main Person we need to bond with is crucial. Family and friends are extremely important but as children of God we ought to think about His family first. We have a connection that is precious and that should be taken into consideration all the time. I love singing praises to the Lord. When I do, I let the Holy Spirit express Himself in me. There are so many things we can do that allow us to let the Holy Spirit use as a revolving door of blessings and of love. The Spirit will always magnify Jesus. Every time you think about Him or you feel led to share Him or talk to Him, you are being led by the Holy Spirit. That partnership is being put in motion when you glorify the Lord. In order to have a solid connection with the Spirit, we should read the Word of God and pray every day. Pray for others and pray for discernment and wisdom. The Holy Spirit can give you all of that. He is the best partner there is. I thank Jesus for the Holy Spirit every day.

There is a beautiful love story about you and your best friend. The Lord is your best friend and His Spirit will make this story happen in an amazing way. Be like David and worship the Lord with the harp of an open heart and the flute of adoration. Keep your heart open to the Lord and let your words indicate that you adore Him. You are a team. The Holy Spirit and you form a great team and it is important that you act and think as a member of that dynamic team. Your teammate is extraordinary and His awesome nature will impact your nature and make you a follower of the Lord. Maximize your time with your teammate. Let Him coach you and let Him help you. Two is better than one and with the Holy Spirit you will always be stronger and better!

REMEMBER THE POWER OF GOD

The enemy is out to rob, destroy and kill. In this pandemic season focusing on the thief, the destroyer and the killer is very easy. He seems to have taken over a big part of the world and a huge section of our emotions. He is deeply rooted in the minds of millions of people playing movies of destruction and fear. The horror movies he has been projecting in our heads are endless. We get a commercial break when we see some hope but then something comes up and we are thrusted back into a negative movie whose end we can’t see.

What the enemy is trying to do is to present himself as powerful. He is a dictator that prevents peace from ruling our hearts. However, he is also a defeated foe. The Lord conquered him on the cross. He is trying to make us forget the power of the cross, the power of the Lord. He robs us of hope but the reality is that hope is still alive. It rose from the grave and the enemy can’t put it back there. He gives us the illusion that hope was killed but we can’t adhere to his lies. He is keeping too many people in his web of lies and when we have faith in his lies, he has power over us. Faith in God brings death to the lies. Faith in God reveals His power and His glory. Today I am here to remind you of the power of God. God is still the God of miracles. Resurrection Sunday is an every day reality when we choose faith over fear and doubt.

God is going to restore what the enemy has stolen. He is going to rebuild what was destroyed and He is going to give life to the dreams and visions that were killed by the enemy. Today you can decide to trust in the Lord and in His power. Today you can decide to turn a deaf ear to the enemy’s lies. Today you can push the reset button and go back to where God is dominating your life. Today you can evict the dictator and put Jesus back on the throne. There is so much power in the Lord that His power can heal every single person who has ever walked the earth. There is so much power in the Lord that His blessings can fill billions of baskets every day and be distributed to every single person who has walked the earth. The thing is that the enemy doesn’t want us to know that or to remember that. He blinds us with his darkness but the Lord opens our eyes to the light of His truth. The truth remains that the power of God is available today. It is here to stay and it is here to protect and bless you. God’s power will make you strong.

You will make it through this tough time and you will come out of it victorious. God’s power will give you the strength you thought you did not have yesterday because of how beaten you have been by this rough season. Your strength comes from the power of God. Plug into the power every day. Tap into it through prayer and praise. Praise brings God unto the scene and He shows up with His power. There is power to change every aspect of every part of your life today. God’s power is going to come in and sweep all the dirt and all the dust the enemy has dumped on you these past few months. God’s power can restore anything and it can mend anything that is broken. This pandemic is not the end. God’s power will put an end to it in your life. It might take a while for this virus to go away but God’s power will protect and bless you in all your ways. With God all things are possible. God’s power turns the impossible into possible. Don’t forget that God has authority over all the earth. Let Him be the authority in your life. You might have fallen but the Lord is raising you up by His power as we speak. Stay encouraged. God’s power is not going anywhere!
